After a fun Presidents Day special, Jim and Greg are once serving up good, bad, and crazy martinis. Join them today as they celebrate Virginia Democrats failing to pass a ban on so-called “assault weapons,” suppressors, and magazines holding more than 12 rounds. They also dive into more offensive comments from former New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg, this time contending that people need a more gray matter to work in the information economy than in farming and that old people diagnosed with cancer shouldn’t receive treatment because it costs too much money. And they react to the criminal convictions for attorney Michael Avenatti and again scold the liberal media for turning Avenatti into the media just because he was an adversary of President Trump.

None of those top-level Dems have to worry about their healthcare being paid for, no matter how old they get. Even though many of them probably have private insurance which they want to outlaw.

Plus, I doubt he’d make it through one year as a real farmer.
Not betting against that.
New York and the rest of America got stuck with the Cuomo family — dad and now sons — because Ed Koch in 1982 couldn’t keep his disdain for rural areas contained, and called Upstate New York ‘sterile’ in an interview with Playboy, while running against Cuomo for governor in the ’82 Democratic primary.
Koch was a more likeable mayor than Bloomberg, and a better one in the first half of his 12-years in office — it all went downhill after he lost the primary for governor and started just letting other Democrats get away with things, while the arrogance that scuttled his path to higher office goes back to Manhattanites like Bloomberg and Koch really having a mindset about the rest of the nation shown in that famous (or infamous) New Yorker magazine cover. If you think there’s nothing important between the Hudson and Interstate 5, that disdain is going to come out sooner or later….
