As the impeachment drama kicks off, Jim and Greg nearly injure themselves rolling their eyes as a longtime Republican aide who is pro-impeachment suggests allowing a secret ballot vote in the Senate to improve the odds of President Trump being removed from office.  They also slam Trump for warmly welcoming Turkish President Erdogan despite his atrocities towards the Kurds and other antagonism towards the U.S.  And they cringe a bit when looking at numbers suggesting Democrats might have a chance at winning Georgia this year, although they do find a deeply satisfying silver lining.

Loved the line about “impeachment fan fiction.” That gave me a good laugh.

Later, when Jim was talking about  a “narrative,” I thought it would be more appropriate to exchange that word for “pack of lies.”

Maybe it’s a case of redundancy which some people try to avoid.  The left’s “narrative” is always a pack of lies.

Right, but we don’t need to use their terms. Transsexual woman? No, it’s called a mutilated man. There is no reason for us to use their terms. They are not liberals. They are Progressives, believing in the delusion that human nature can progress into a higher state.

To be precise, they believe that human nature can progress into a higher state through the actions of a benevolent and omniscient elite; i.e., them.

The problem with not using their terms is that they define not using their terms as “hate speech”, which justifies shutting any dissenter down* on Twitter and Facebook and YouTube.

*Or at least demonetizing them; i.e., making it impossible for conservative intellectuals to make a living at it.
