Ricochet is the best place on the internet to discuss the issues of the day, either through commenting on posts or writing your own for our active and dynamic community in a fully moderated environment. In addition, the Ricochet Audio Network offers over 50 original podcasts with new episodes released every day.
Jim Geraghty of National Review and Greg Corombos of Radio America praise the leadership of new Veterans Affairs Secretary Dr. David Shulkin as he makes sweeping administrative changes to improve veteran care. They also dismiss California Democratic Rep. Brad Sherman’s introduction of articles of impeachment against President Trump while California Lt. Gov. Gavin Newsom implores his party to tone down impeachment rhetoric. And they enjoy the news that rock star Kid Rock is seriously considering a run for the U.S. Senate in Michigan and speculate about future celebrity candidates.

Hmm, no file, yet.
Kid Rock would be better than either of our current senators. Of course, so would a Pet Rock.
@gregcorombos File, please?
@blueyeti? @max? Whoever is available? There seems to have been a problem in loading this.
Getting closer. Now there is a downloadable file, but with a typo in it. Period, not comma before the mp3. (I know, I want everything.)
I have nothing.
Radio America works.
If you click on the “Download the Podcast” button, which looks like a down arrow, it is almost right, except for the comma fourth character from the end where a period should be. If you click on it, it will open a 404 window, but the url will be there, and you can just change the comma.
Or, one could do that, of course.
I think Paul Ryan should bring the articles of impeachment up for a vote. We know it won’t go anywhere, so let’s force the Dems to go on record.
Go here.

Thanks, Seawriter. This is the one podcast I listen to every day of the week. :)
The Ricochet podcast feed, via Apple, constantly announces podcasts that do not yet exist or which are not available for download. This is IMMENSELY EFFING ANNOYING.
Much has been spoken about the technical abilities of “The Blue Yeti”. Might I suggest that Scott Immergut refuse to accept the compliments frequently offered him on various podcasts until this issue is resolved.
It’s my reserve parachute site. I’m like you.

It isn’t always Scott. I remember the last time there was a problem with this podcast, Greg fessed up that it was him. Scott fixed it. (That isn’t to say I am impressed, but it isn’t always Scott.)
I remember that, but that’s not what I’m talking about. It’s a general problem with Ricochet podcasts, not just TML. However, this is a good example: click on the mp3 download link on this podcast right now and you’ll get a 404. That’s not good, and it happens all the time. It’s a particular problem on my iPhone because the podcast app is flaky so it means that every now and then I have to reboot the phone to listen to the download.
I thought I was listening to the Sounds of Silence.
(Oops, I dated myself.)
You must be from Maryland.
Michigan. At least we have a Republican governor, somewhat.
I don’t even know who Kid Rock is but he’s got to be more qualified than Barack Obama or Ted Kennedy ever were .
