Welcome, but Maryland is almost as bad as NJ in some parts. Virginia is better … although sadly getting bluer.

Amen Julia. I know you have a lot of friends on the other side of the river and being a practicing Jew in Maryland is probably easier but ….. we need you here. You can help turn this state commonwealth around. Welcome to the DMV.

Bethany, I totally agree with you about New Jersey. When I met my husband, he was living in NJ so off I went. Fortunately, we were there less than 2 years when his company was acquired by one based in Dallas. Yay!

I could talk all day about the things that are wrong with NJ, but you already know all about them and we don’t have all day anyway. For me, there were only 2 good things there: no sales tax on clothing and they pumped your gas for you.

    Congratulations on your move.

This was a good episode, and welcome back. It’s too bad that the new magazine was launched in the way it was, because it looks interesting, but as a 10 year Weekly Standard subscriber, I refuse to have anything to do with The Examiner, on principle. When I canceled my TWS subscription, I specifically refused the free offer. Best of luck,Seth.
