Great judges are made not born. Jay and Mona praise the Federalist Society for giving the nation a pool of highly qualified, conservative judges, and President Trump for appointing them. Yale Law students can’t handle it. Is Jim Jordan a victim of the deep state? Should we abolish ICE (er, no), and more.

The podcast is strummed out, over the Blue Yeti’s objections, to John Denver.

    This was another terrific Podcast.

One of the things I’ve never seen is The Incredibles. I have an account with Netflix, and I just put it on my que. Thanks for recommending, guys.

To the Blue Yeti: You are one of my favorite people in Ricochet, but I like John Denver. If we had to restrict ourselves to people who don’t believe silly things, we’d end up running out of singers to listen to.

I like lots of people who believe in silly things. That doesn’t mean Rocky Mountain High isn’t a terrible song.

Obviously, we disagree. I always say: We can’t all be Shakespeare (not that we wrote songs). But I still like you. :-)

I’ll name a conspiracy Mona, against a political enemy. The conspiracy by Democrat judicial committee staffers to elicit false charges of sex harassment against Clarence Thomas by Anita Hill by promising her anonymity in order to have him withdraw from the Supreme Court nomination. See Thomas Sowell on Anita Hill:

    http://www.realclearpolitics.com/articles/2007/10/clarence_thomas_part_ii.htm

I was genuinely shocked at Mona’s and Jay’s near slander of Jim Jordan. Are they unaware of the backgrounds of lead accusers? Unaware of the support he has from many more former wrestlers and head coach? Jim Jordan is one of few who are serious about exposing the rampant corruption in Obama’s DOJ and intelligent agencies which was intended to destroy candidacy of major party’s nominee for President, whatever you think of him. Not surprising to me Obama’s supporters would attempt anything to keep the saintly Obama untarred by such exposure.

For the record I am not a Trump pom pom boy.

The accusers do indeed sound unreliable but I do not understand how Jim Jordan could have been an assistant coach and remained unaware of what was going on in the showers.

In all the praise for Trump for these judges (that we could’ve elected a random Ricochet commenter to do), I wish there was more debate on gutting the filibuster, which made this all possible. And lets be clear that far Left judges will now be able to sail thru too because of this crushing of minority rights in the Senate.
