Lyndsey’s getting married! The night before heading off for a big wedding trip she has a slumber party with Bethany (naturally) and lays out why a wedding tour was the obvious choice—and, seriously, does she really NEED to take malaria pills?

Mazal tov to Lyndsey and her mister!
Since just joining together in marriage is enough complication to anyone’s life, I’m inclined to keep travel minimal and simple.
We (38 years ago) had a simple ceremony in Mrs. Tabby’s home church (but involving both her minister and a minister from my home church) in Costa Mesa (Southern California). We honeymooned in cheap motels up the California coast. Well, we had no money either, so more elaborate travel was rather out of the question.
But to this day, now that we have a lot more money, complicated travel arrangements stress me out. Hearing about Lyndsey’s travel plans to pile onto learning to be married causes my anxiety level to increase. But that’s me, not everyone.
Is there a betting pool for what happens at the end of 12 days with Daisy in the Mandel household:
Option 1: Daisy stays with the Mandels and Lyndsey and Matt get a new “together” dog; or
Option 2: Daisy returns to Lyndsey and Matt, but the Mandels are on the hunt for the inevitable new Mandel dog.
Even though I suspect @bethanymandel is not in favor of a dog in the household, I think it’s a near certainty that once Seth and the kids spend 12 days with Daisy they will have a dog in the household.
I admire Bethany’s commitment to jokes about being in love with Lyndsey’s butt
Agree with @fullsizetabby that the plans sound very complicated but then Lyndsey is a very pulled together person who will, no doubt, make it all work. And if it doesn’t go exactly as planned it will be a great story for their kids.
Okay, we just got back from a cruise and haven’t heard the podcast yet.
HOWEVER, we’re intrigued by comments about Lyndsey’s butt.
Okay – I am, not the wife. [Honey, is this hole I’m digging deep enough?]
My wife and I listened to the podcast today as we were driving home from our cruise. Lyndsey did it right, and it was cool to hear she was also coming home today (I think that’s what I heard – I was concentrating on driving).
Anyway, we’re looking forward to the debriefing on the wedding and honeymoon, plus the results of all 25 pregnancy tests . . .
