Another great interview with a fine mind. Thank you for asking my question! I think he has a great point re centralization, where he talked about one group always ending up with the control. And a sobering take on the civil war possibility. I’ve had the exact same reaction to this word “resistance,” and it’s been thrown around by Tom Perez and even Hillary, and I did you see the video Loretta Lynch has made?! I really think it borders on sedition. It has to stop.
I really liked everything he had to say, especially about Israel and the Iran deal.
Indeed, the left is playing with fire.
That was quite entertaining.
Daniel has an amazing intellect, and having followed his brilliant writing and correspond for years, I enjoyed finally meeting him!
A serious BIG thank-you to the greatest producer ever… Melissa had all sorts of glitches and problems with the video and was working on it since yesterday. Great job M!!
Awww, everyone here knows who the real talent is, Dave. Great job, as usual with another fascinating guest. By the end of Freedomfest, we’ll probably have close to 70 video interviews completed.
Didn’t know this guy. He’s solid on everything. I’d like to see more about strategy, how do we take the schools, universities, away from the far left and how do we influence or reform the media. You cannot win by argument which is the conservative approach and you cannot win by compromise or giving in, which is the Republicans approach. I like his use of the term resistance which justifies all the insanity. We all agree on the diagnosis but it’s like the adds about “just monitoring the cavities, or the bank robbery, but no remedy” I might also ask, how do we get Trump to lead, or to understand Washington enough to know how to lead?
He’s right about the State Departments bias against Israel but that can’t be fixed by anything except strong leadership out of Washington from the President, the Secretary and Assistant Secretaries rooted in policies defined enough to know if they are being carried out. Officers assigned to Israel almost universally dislike the Israelis and those assigned to the Arab world universally like Arabs, they are charming and hospitable the Israelis are not. Iranians, in contrast are called the Mexicans of the Middle East, and vice versa by people who know both places.
This is a terrific interview. My single biggest take-away was Greenberg’s distinction between “opposition” and “resistance.”
I don’t recommend to watch this over breakfast. Because as fact-filled and insightful as the interview is, it is also a little depressing to be reminded of just how deep Leftist ideologies run in American society today.
