Hillary Won’t Say if She Wiped the Server

Calling Hillary Clinton a bad candidate is like calling Hannibal Lecter a bad dinner guest; it’s a bit of an understatement. Tuesday afternoon, the presumed Democratic nominee gave a disastrous press conference that will fuel opposition ads until November 2016, or until she drops out of the campaign. In this excerpt, she deftly puts an end to the growing email server scandal:

Ed Henry: “Did you wipe the server?”

Hillary Clinton: “What, like with a cloth or something?”

Yeah, that should end the controversy. Earlier Tuesday, she had a semi-public meeting with activists from #BlackLivesMatter, the group that has been shutting down the campaign events of her rivals. It… didn’t go well.

Hillary Clinton: “If that is your position then I will talk only to white people about how we are going to deal with the very real problems.”

In both videos, she’s prickly, imperious, and thoroughly unlikable. As Peter Robinson asked below, can she possibly win the Democratic nomination? And, if I may add, does she even make it to the end of the year?

I really enjoyed the awkwardness of the Black Lives Matter confrontation. This one is pretty great, too.

Does anyone have a link to that full press conference?

This one’s slightly longer but cuts out before the “What, like with a cloth or something?” line, (which I think was cut out on purpose because it reflected poorly on her imperious majesty).

The wheels are coming off. A minimally qualified Secretary of State would be able to determine what information should be considered classified no matter how is marked. She can’t plead cluelessness without appearing to be a complete fool. At the very least, she faces mishandling classified information. That is merely a misdemeanor. If it is shown that she attempted to delete such an email, that is obstruction of justice.

She saved her 2008 NH Primary by crying during the penultimate news cycle before election day.

She’s not stupid. She only plays stupid on television.

Any person — Democrat, Independent or Republican — who even contemplates voting for this individual is a) amoral; b) corrupt; c) incompetent; and/or d) a Clinton family member. But you knew that already . . . .

In the second video, I think the soundtrack of the orchestra tune-up…gettin’ ready for the show…was perfect.

Oy vey.  Idiots as stupid as those activists deserve a candidate as vapid and dishonest as they are.  Black on black violence is endemic in inner cities, but of course, the problem is white on black violence.

It all depends on what the definition of “server”, is…

If “server” means rear end, then no, she had someone do it for her.

Why hasn’t anybody challenged her with this: The moment a single piece of classified information touched her computer, her iPhone, or anything else that could have had access to that computer, BECAME THE PROPERTY OF THE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT, AND EVERYTHING ON IT!  Gee, I remember that from my very first security briefing.

… and she’s still the Democrat front runner.  The Clinton family ain’t that big.  So… what does that tell you?

Been discussing the Black Lives Matter confrontation on the Enemy Message Board, and from what I can tell from the leftists there (and this video clip) that the solution to the problems black people face is that there’s just not enough white guilt out there. Until whitey feels guilty enough, there will be no solution possible.

No guilt, no peace! No guilt, no peace!

I think being declared guilty simply because of the color of your skin is straight-up racism.

Holy crap that interview with BLM was agonizing to watch.  Her nodding her head like a machine, her uncomfortable, robotic responses that clearly pass through whatever passes for a filter in her addled mind.

She is a disaster.  I can see why Bernie’s poll numbers are eclipsing hers.  Much more of this type of exposure – which is why she spent so much time avoiding unscripted interviews – and she’s all done.

    She might be…

Oh, and how about they also ask:

“Why did you, the official, decide it was OK to go against the standard practice of using government email – secured email – and use a private server with no security and encryption?  Would you support the Secretary of Defense doing the same thing you did?  If not, why not?”

No, the question she needs to be asked is, “Do you think anyone with the reckless disregard you’ve shown for national security is qualified to run for dog catcher, let alone president?”

    I know. Too obvious.

Oh, to be a fly on the wall at the FBI to see the reaction of agents investigating her when she jokes about wiping the server with a cloth. I don’t think they were yucking it up.

Cooke is right that the big takeaway quote from Hillary is “I will only talk to white people.”

Oh Em Gee! If Hillary was a Republican that line would be emblazoned across the top of every newspaper in 512-pt type. Every left-wing blog would be melting down. She would be this year’s Todd Akin.

But she’s a Democrat. And damn, that covers a multitude of sins, donnit?

Bill Clinton has more political talent in his left pinkie finger than Hillary does in her whole body – and I’ll bet that just drives her crazy!!! I’m sure at some point she’s said, “How tough can retail politics be? I mean, Bill can do it!”

    Jon and all,

VDH at NRO has the lesson we need to learn about dealing with a Clinton.

Obama: Earning Contempt, at Home and Abroad

Appeasement will never work. Only the word FBI slowed her down and got her attention. Now the only way to push her to the next level will be the word Indictment.

    Regards,

    Jim

This video is amazing. She comes off as aggressive and nasty and rude. Horrible tone and body language.

Contrast this with Walker’s conversation with the planted illegals the other week – he is actually a nice person, and it shows.

Because the average journalist has no idea how security classification works. Maybe they’ll figure it out as the issue continues to fester.

No, she’s a Democrat. She gets a pass.
