Does the Sussman Trial Cause Any Regret at All?

From RealClearPolitics on Thursday:

Baker’s testimony was followed, on Friday, by that of Clinton campaign manager Robby Mook. Mook casually (perhaps inadvertently) dropped a bombshell. Hillary Clinton, he said, had personally approved sharing the Trump-Alfa Bank story with the press. Mook said the campaign wasn’t sure if the story was true but figured the press would look into it. Hillary agreed and approved spreading the false story.

But Mook cannot be right when he says “the campaign” didn’t know if the Alfa Bank story was true. Mook may not have known, but others in the campaign surely did since they were the ones who created the false story. They expended campaign funds to generate that dishonest “inference and narrative” about Trump and Alfa Bank from internet data, knowing it would fool only naïve FBI agents and reporters. Real cyber experts could – and did – disprove the “inference” almost immediately.

Without a doubt, this was the Democratic Party using the levers of government to go after its opponents. For every person on the right who complained loud and long about the threat to the Republic by Trump, where are those voices now?

Those of us willing to overlook mean tweets (or enjoy them, which I admit too) were able to see how this was all a setup at the time. It was painfully clear because our eyes were not clouded. We are owed apologies by the people screeching that Trump was a threat to democracy.

We won’t get it.

Everything Moves Left All Of The Time

Roe is on the verge of being overturned. Everything doesn’t move left all of the time.

Too soon to tell. In 5 years, when all the big companies will pay a bonus to any employee that gets an abortion and Hawaii becomes renowned for abortion tourism and Amazon will deliver a home abortion kit the same day, it will feel like a leftward move.

I can’t wait for $2,000 tax credits for abortions.  I’m a guy, but for 2,000 bucks I might consider getting an abortion a few times a year.

Oh, for a one-page tax law.

But it is however discriminatory against trans women.  Just because they can’t get pregnant doesn’t mean they should lose out on a program for women.

That is why Congress will never investigate all this malfeasance and that is why our nation is so divided and so at risk, unless hardcore conservatives get an overwhelming majority in both houses that  can overrule Cocaine Mitch and his thugs.

Literally our entire Federal Government is thoroughly, utterly and ridiculously corrupt, but the GOPe will not lift, of their own volition,  a finger to rid our nation of that corruption.

“The Nasdaq, S&P 500 and the Dow are way higher today and we don’t have a balanced budget. Somebody is kidding themself. It ain’t me.”

This comment epitomizes the cluelessness of the Left. The Nasdaq, S&P 500 and the Dow have been pushed higher to a point just before the recent downturn  4 times that of 2008/9  with a P/E ratio substantially above that of the 20th century average  without a corresponding rise in the real GDP largely due largely to  the machinations of the FED and other federal agencies.  These machinations engineered the greatest multi-trillion dollar  wealth transfer theft  from the  lower, middle and upper classes to the Financial Elite and the 1% in the history of our nation, perhaps the world.  That grossly illegal Multi-Trillion Wealth transfer generates  the flow of huge bribes all across all the Federal Agencies and Congress that is leading us to a   total destruction of our Constitutional Republic.

One could argue it started with the “Greenspan Put”, but the Gramm-Leach-Billey Act of 1999, which repealed Glass Steagall Act, essentially opened a huge financial Pandoras’ Box of Corruption which led directly to the Financial Panic of 2008, only to lead to the greater theft and folly of  Helicopter Ben’s QE Trillion Dollar giveaway to the Big Banks starting in 2009 which firmly ensconced financial corruption as a part of regular government business. Big Corporatist Business became beneficiary of  thousands of favors while Small Business was given the shaft, which has led us to the  utterly corrupt government we have of today and quite likely a “Great Reset” type Authoritarian government of tomorrow.

Do I regret buying into Russian Collusion.  No.  Regret is the wrong verb.  When I read Barr’s book, I was convinced that I was wrong and I promptly admitted my mistake.  I did what I did because I believed it, and when I received further information I changed my mind.  Calling me names didn’t change my mind, heck it made me dig in.  But a detailed treatment by Barr changed my mind.

Surprise! I ended up not voting for him!

And that turned out so well! Congratulations!

So no apologies for January 6th. Congratulations!

Do I need to apologize for anything? I wasn’t there, and the people who WERE there were let in by Capitol Police et al.

Also, January 6th happened AFTER – and very likely BECAUSE OF – what is increasingly known to be a bogus election. Unless you can somehow prove that it would have happened anyway even if Trump had won re-election, that’s bogus too.

Or I should say, unless you can prove that it would have happened the same way, with the same people. There’s some good chance that something would have happened from the Left, if Trump had won, but we’ve seen that the Left – Antifa, BLM, etc – don’t just walk into buildings and stay inside the ropes. They don’t even just SAY “threatening” things, if that’s the worst you’ve got. The Left loots, and burns, and kills…

You lost me at the word bogus.  I believe that the world is round, that 6 million Jews died in the Holocaust, that we walked on the moon, that W won in 2000 and 2004, that W did not know of 9/11 in advance, that Trump won in 2016, Biden won in 2020 and that Santa Claus is not real.  I think that most Americans agree with me on these 9 points.   I hope you will join us.

Except he was a threat to democracy on January 6th. How many apologies did we get for that travesty? I didn’t vote for him but I was glad he beat Hillary. I despise Biden but if Trump had been re-elected, he would have felt vindicated and there was a lot about his presidency I didn’t want to vindicate.

Some of his policies were good. (But if today’s runaway inflation worries you, Trump helped that along as much as anyone.) I never called myself NeverTrump. I was always a “gettable” vote but neither Trump nor his supporters were interested in winning my support. His strategy was an obsessive appeal to his base. Those of us who didn’t find his neverending tweets helpful were effectively told to piss up a rope. Surprise! I ended up not voting for him!

    I have to disagree.

I think Trump should be vindicated. The charges against him have all been proven to be lies. The victim of false accusations should be granted vindication, otherwise you end up in a Reign of Terror. The first lair is the last to the guillotine.

Trump’s policies where as much deflationary as inflationary. While the reckless covid relief spending was a terrible policy and terribly implemented, his focus on deregulation and energy production could have reduced some of the inflationary pressures.

There would be some inflation – but in a Trump second term – it wouldn’t have been as bad.

Trump has been vindicated on the Russian Conspiracy, but he has not been vindicated on either impeachment, the Big Lie, and January 6th.

Now they have a three-way mandate. Unemployment, inflation, and the stock market.

Indeed.  The US economy is dependent on the stock market to stimulate consumer spending and generate taxes and cover pension funds.   California is even more dependent on funding their largess through stock inflation.

You THINK you made the right decision at the time, because you believed the lies that other people recognized for what they were.  You have since repented from one of the lies (or groups of lies, depending on how you see them) but continue to cling to the others.  At least for now.

Maybe if you ever get around to recognizing the other lies for what they were, you’ll eventually realize that you DIDN’T make the right decision at the time, since it was based on lies.  But I have a suspicion that you’ll either not allow yourself to come to realization about all the other lies – maybe just clinging to one would allow you to justify your mistake – or even if you do, you’ll maintain that your mistake was actually correct because it somehow wasn’t a mistake to be taken in by the lies.

“Live not by lies,” eh?  Attorney, heal thyself.

No, there would never be any receipts.

In that case, I had 5 abortions THIS MONTH. Where’s my $10,000?

If that’s how you identify your body, that’s probably going to be the law.

Two months and I decided that the Russia stuff was bogus.

Trump knows he’s an international criminal and he’s going to run for POTUS. Sure.

Trump decides to become an international criminal even though the IRS is giving him a continuous colonoscopy for that $1 billion deduction he took. Sure.

I get that the Bidens did that… But they are Democrats.

I expected it of the Democrats.

It is the people on our “side” who turned out to be on their “side”

Just for the 2020 presidential election. Please, please, please don’t nominate Trump again.

Because we’ll force you to do something stupid, again? Yeah, sure, it’s OUR fault.

I’m going to write in Trump’s name and Gary’s for VP.  Let me see him assist Trump with his policies saving the country.  Then Gary will be a legitimate hero.

So basically, it always comes back too “But Trump” Got it

After DeSantis is elected in 2024 I hope we can move on from Trump.

What’s this “We”? You are the one that cannot even regret falling for this tripe.

Sorry, Sir, I am not going to move on from your betrayal of the man who you choose for your avatar and what he stood for. You voted for Joe Biden.

Trump has been vindicated on the Russian Conspiracy, but he has not been vindicated on either impeachment, the Big Lie, and January 6th.

Yes. Without the Russia Conspiracy the impeachments are empty.

Whats the Big Lie? Was that the democrat theory that a presidential candidate used foreign intelligence assets to manipulate an election? There was. The democrats always accuse others of what they have done.

Jan 6? Who cares? There are a dozen cities who have suffered a dozen riots far more damaging and deadly than Jan 6. Trump did everything he could to avoid trouble. Democrats declined.

    . . .

    Whats the Big Lie?

Yeah. I honestly don’t know what the “Big Lie” actually is. The election was rigged, and it was not ok, and illegally cast or counted votes were well past the Biden margin of victory in GA, WI, PA, NV, and AZ. What precisely is the lie?

    Remind yourself to vote.

They were all corrupt.  Hillary Clinton and her cadre of lawyers and lackeys.  James Comey and his parasitic puppets.  Bob Mueller and his team of unscrupulous partisan hacks.  The odious Glenn Simpson and his smear merchants at Fusion GPS.  And, of course, the obnoxious media stooges who obsessed over Trump-Russia collusion without a shred of credible evidence.  They broke every rule in the book.  Sewer rats have more ethics.

That, in sum, is what we’ve learned from the federal trial of Michael Sussmann, the morally challenged attorney who knowingly peddled phony information to the FBI, CIA, and the press to frame Donald Trump both before and after the 2016 presidential election.

It was all a hoax invented by Hillary personally, funded by her campaign, and disseminated on her orders by her sycophants to the malevolent media to destroy her opponent and boost her chances of winning the White House.  The scam also had the added benefit, as declassified CIA documents show, of distracting from Clinton’s own damning email scandal.  Thanks to Comey’s abuse of power, she escaped criminal prosecution for that.  Feeling emboldened, she manufactured a new scandal to defame Trump.

The contemptible mainstream media served as witting accessories to the fraudulent conspiracy.  Blinded by their unabashed scorn for Trump, they were all too willing to run asinine stories of Kremlin collusion without bothering to verify or corroborate any of it.  Evidence?  Facts?  Proof?  Forget about it.  That stuff is for chumps.  When it comes to sliming Trump, there are no journalistic rules.

I see #118 is getting a lot of likes. I really like the way Greg Jarrett does business. He writes very good monologues. I think it makes whatever else he chooses to do even better. Really clear.

Except he was a threat to democracy on January 6th.

How? Real answers, please, not MSNBC boilerplate.

    Congratulations, you’re functionally a Democrat.
