How Outrageous!
I’ve noticed the funniest thing in the last few days, and I keep waiting for someone to point it out, but I haven’t seen anyone yet.
Liberal commentators are concerned, very concerned, and you can tell they’re concerned by the concerned expressions on their concerned faces and the concerned tones of their concerned voices… that Donald Trump might have been trying to affect the outcome of the election by paying off women to keep them quiet. Get that… they are specifically upset not by the payoffs, but by their potential effect on the vote.
Oh My God! A politician trying to win an election, actually trying to get as many votes as possible? Outrageous! What other horrifying revelations will we be forced to accept? Next, you’ll be telling me that the White House Press Office plays up news that is positive for the administration while downplaying information that is not.
Of course, we all know that Hillary Clinton spent her $2 billion campaign war chest helping the homeless, and trying to build a better America. She would never be so crass as to use that money to try to get votes.

btw, there are rumors that VP Pence failed to obtain explicit consent on his wedding night, so he’ll never be elected.
It was the eighties.
It is scary that many on one side don’t know what people on the other side want. But it is just as scary when we on the right have figured out what the other side does want.
And then I get scared when trying to determine if any schools in the nation will have rooms for any classrooms, once all the M/W/L/G/B/T/X/Y/Z bathrooms are fully installed.
Yes. It’s the real reason for concern.
The press has become so unethical in the way they present current events that they’ve actually created an alternate reality. The people who live in it have no idea of what’s happening all around them. And they accuse us of the same thing. But I don’t think it’s us.
I was perusing some comments on Imgur, which is largely populated by millennials both here and in the UK. They speak of “the peepee tape” as if it happened. They have no idea that the Steele dossier was made up. None. If someone tries to point that out, they ridicule them and tell them they’re hearing lies on “Faux News.”
It’s shocking. I mean it isn’t as if they’ve heard it and dismissed it. They have never even heard it.
I resemble that remark
Because they are incumbents.
Trump is an incumbent.
I also notice that some people are saying Trump/Cohen “silenced” women. Technically correct, but it frames it in a way that makes the women victims. It sounds as if something was done to them, and they were helpless in the situation. They aren’t victims, unless I’m missing something. They chose to be involved with Donald Trump (or chose to claim as much), and then they agreed to be quiet about it.
Now. He wasn’t at the time of the payoffs.
There are those, but certainly not those on Ricochet, who may be tempted to inquire, “And which one was that?” So much for ambiguity of the English language…….
How many Playmates of the Year have offered to ‘snuggle’ with you?
Well, that would also be zero.
The concerned democrats journalists are concerned that Trump broke the rules – He was unwilling to loose with grace and dignity. He was supposed to be a happy looser like Mitt Romney. Democrat journalists go out, day after day campaigning for the democrats slinging the most unspeakable mud… Mitt Romney refused to acknowledge it, address or refute it. Even worse he called Obama a good father and a decent person. (maybe that’s half true) That’s why he lost the election, he refused to step up for himself, why would anyone believe he would step up for them?
Please don’t be sad. That is probably not a bad thing as most 10s are bat-guano crazy at best. I know because a friend told me. He claims to have anecdotal evidence.
You are aware this is his third beautiful wife, right? And I doubt he was chaste prior to the prior two divorces.
Man, I could use a good snuggling.
R U a chick?
I R a dude. But it’s a good line.
In my opinion,,consorting with Wright was far far worse than consorting with Porny.
Indeed. Wright put down America while Daniels sought to lift it up.
Exactly! We don’t have term limits, so legislators are always running in the next election. And the members of congress want to be re-elected! If this payment to Daniels is a campaign violation , then so is every payment made for a sexual harassment claim against a member of Congress.
THANK YOU, @ontheleftcoast, for bringing this up. Everybody seems to have forgotten about it.
(Well, it is ancient history, of course: about 9 months ago the story broke. )
It was never a secret, of course, it was just that nobody cared before. The Office of Compliance (great name for a porn flick, aka a “blue” flick) is a legitimate, taxpayer funded agency of our government. We can’t even find out how much of the 17.2 M it has paid out since it was set up went to silence claims of sexual harassment. Oh and not all accused legislators paid their victims through this office; some like Conyers, paid out of their own office budgets, so,there! (Remind me: who funds their office budgets? Oh yeah : we the people do.)
but back to @judgemental‘s excellent point:
isnt it pretty much a given that a candidate for office is trying to influence the results of an election? I mean, duh!
If a candidate pays to whiten his or her teeth, or lavishes money on his shining hair, like Edwards did–what are those expenditures but an attempt to make them selves more attractive to voters?
God save the President.
Yeah: for a price. There are no victims here. Porny Daniels is inthe sex business. It’s what she sells. Karen the Bunny was courted, by her own account. This was not , f’rinstance, Bill Clinton directing the state police to deliver a woman to his motel room.
RicoComment of the Week!
Three.
Here are two of them.
Better than most!
Is this like saying that a billionaire celebrity should only be judged by other billionaire celebrities?
Bob’s not the only dog in that household.
