Donald Trump Indicted by Manhattan Grand Jury

The story is here.

There is an old saying which goes something like this: Be careful what you wish for; you just might get it.

I have made my opinion clear when this was just a potential indictment. Now that the loons have made the leap the best I can do is quote one of their oiliest, sleaziest “leaders”, Schumer, and observe that they just may reap more whirlwind than they could ever imagine.

Elon Musk said this would assure a Trump Presidency II. I’m inclined to believe that may well be the case.

This is an abject disgrace.

The State of Florida will not comply with any request for extradition assistance. In an official statement, the Governor dismissed the indictment as a political act.

Meanwhile, the D’s just gave the heave-ho to the one precedent that might have kept Biden out of the slammer.

    Of course they will comply.

    Watch.

This assumes that Republicans have balls.

Besides, Biden’s lawyers can just show he’s incompetent to stand trial.

I’m reading a lot of comments online to the effect of “Well, that settles it. Trump has my vote.” Or “I was planning to vote for DeSantis, but screw it. Now I’m voting for Trump.” (If you’re on Facebook, read the comments under Scott Walker’s post. )

I’m not as confident as some that this will backfire on Democrats. Mainly because every time I’ve been told that “this time Democrats have gone too far” . . . they just go farther.

How can it backfire when Democrats control every lever of influence in the country? By tomorrow evening, every suburban white woman will be applauding this decision, because the media they consume will convince them that Trump is a criminal. They’ll nod along like bobbleheads, even though they haven’t got a clue what it’s about.

    Nothing backfired on Democrats

Trump is the victim of an obvious political witch hunt. Still doesn’t make me want to vote for him. I guess to the minds of many being a victim is now an asset. Part of the reason I consider myself a conservative (some may disagree) is I really hate the victimology mindset. It seems that mindset has swept the conservative movement since Trump came into our lives politically. It’s human nature to want feel like you have been wronged, I guess.

The indictment of Trump is a mutually beneficial 100% political abuse of the judicial process.

Trump benefits with a huge boost to his popularity with (R) voters who are royally pissed off at the injustice ….. and the (D) …..

I still believe the (D)/DeepState behind the curtain want Trump to win the (R) Presidential nomination because after 6 years of relentless propaganda carpet bombing the (D)/DeepState grand poobah’s are convinced the Trump brand is too degraded to win a general election.

Unfortunately, I fear the (D)/DeepState evil geniuses are correct.

If Trump is the (R) nominee I will vote for Trump with bells on, knowing we are probably going to get 4 more years of this bizarro world woke Leftist lunacy ….. I pray I’m wrong.

Using this action as a way of trying to ensure a Trump nomination is like using a nuke to take out a tree stump.

Are the D’s that dumb that they don’t actually think through the implications of what they’re doing?

I think this indictment is just the beginning for Trump. This is a legal tactic to draw more accusers out of the woodwork. People will make stuff up to get in on the case somehow.

This is an attempt to destroy him completely, in every way.

This is how lawyers spend a couple of years tainting juries and gathering circumstantial “evidence.”

This is truly a time for prayers. Trump is up against a lot.

Not a single story that I have seen (And I have looked) says what he has been indicted for. What criminal statute is he alleged to have violated?

The indictment is sealed and, supposedly won’t be unsealed until Trump is arraigned. It seems that Trump and his lawyers must have seen it, otherwise, why would he go to New York to turn himself over to their police?

I suspect the Dims just didn’t have their cheating machine turned up enough because they didn’t think they needed to for Hillary.  But when it was time for Biden to “win,” they put the pedal to the metal and maybe hit the nitrous too.  Although they could be waiting on the nitrous until ’24.

It is possible that the Democrats could win in the sense that Trump doesn’t win the GOP presidential nomination, in part because of these fake charges leveled against him.

But in another sense, if Ron DeSantis wins the GOP presidential nomination in 2024, then the presidential contest will be a 46 year old Ron DeSantis against an 81 year old Joe Biden, instead of a 78 year old Donald Trump and an 81 year old Joe Biden.

It’s possible that this George Soros aligned DA has helped the Republicans win back the White House in 2024.  Without this assistance, the Republican primary voters might have nominated Trump for yet another losing contest against Biden.

Politics is like football.  When the ball bounces, it’s hard to know in whose hands it will end up.

It’s a distraction. “Just wait until 2024!” As if the country can wait that long. And I’ve heard it all before anyway. Just wait until we control the Senate! Just wait until we control the White House! Just wait . . . just wait . . . just wait . . . we’ll get ’em next time! It’s a sad cope that doesn’t recognize the danger we’re in.
