Biden Promotes Transgenderism in SOTU Speech
You didn’t miss it buried in the lies and misinformation about the state of the country, did you? Or maybe you heard his support and promotion of transgenderism and figured it’s too late to do anything about it. Or maybe, like me, your outrage was lit up again, as the President continues to work to destroy the fiber of our country.
Regardless of your reaction to Biden’s speech, his active promotion of transgenderism and everything it entails is a disgrace:
‘The onslaught of state laws targeting transgender Americans and their families is wrong,’ he insisted.
He continued by promising to support the medical conversion of children into ‘transgender’ people: ‘As I said last year, especially to our younger transgender Americans, I will always have your back as your president, so you can be yourself and reach your God-given potential.
That’s right. The President of the United States is promoting the disfiguring of children, drug abuse (puberty blockers), and the pressuring our children into becoming transgendered. The effects of many of these treatments are irreversible. Biden’s mentioning G-d’s name in this context is an abomination.
Even Sweden has begun to realize the errors of its ways:

The new guidelines are set to replace a prior 2015 guideline that recommended the use of puberty blockers for children as being ‘safe and secure,’ broadcaster SVT reports.
According to the health board, the risks of hormone treatments outweigh the benefits stating, ‘Pending… a research study, our assessment is that the treatments can be given in exceptional cases.’
We shouldn’t be surprised that people on both sides of the aisle are finally rejecting the transgender agenda:
By more than a 3-to-1 margin, Americans oppose a key educational policy of the transgender movement. Sixty-eight percent (68%) believe schools and teachers should not be allowed to counsel students on their sexual and gender identities without parental knowledge or consent. Only 19% believe schools should be allowed to engage in such counseling without parental consent.
Ben Shapiro spoke out against Biden’s positions and comments in a way that should speak to many of us:
‘America deserves a president who sides with parents rather than corrupt teachers’ unions that shut down schools and mask toddlers and indoctrinate kids into the perverse lies of gender theory and the overt bigotry of critical race theory,’ said Shapiro.
‘At least Joe Biden has brought transgenderism and diversity, equity and inclusion to the Defense Department,’ he added. ‘Don’t you feel safer already?’
How will we explain the degeneration of our country and the destruction of their lives to our children?

Right. I would tell her that maybe she should cut her hair and ditch the makeup. If she’s so desperate to go out she could go “disguised as a man.” Does she want to die because people have to know she thinks she’s a woman.
I would like to think that I, as a woman, wouldn’t hesitate to dress like a man if it protected me.
If God give us our potential, then what’s wrong with our God given genitals?
And that is my problem. I do not see much of conservative values in people younger than 50. They seem to have bought into all sort of stupid LEFT stuff. They think they are conservative but do not seem to be from my perspective. They are either very LEFT or pretty much don’t care and will the LEFT do what it pleases.
Somehow, it all reminds me of the time when my younger brother was very young and he “came out” as a white cat named “fluff”. The role somehow required that he wear his blanket as a cape and spend time under the dining room table. Needless to say, after a week or so, he decided he was something else
I think lots of kids “try out” different personas while they are growing up and eventually grow into what was originally intended. To have a system in place to search them out during this phase and lock them into what would have been a temporary phase seems to be crazy and very harmful.
Forget transgenderism and conservative values for a moment and realize that too many people are not connected to reality. The best example I can give is the reaction in CA long ago when some nutcase from New Jersey started a campaign to roll back auto insurance rates in CA. A couple of co-workers were on-board with forcing a 15% reduction in auto rates. I shrugged and asked what they intended to do if companies gave a middle finger and stopped writing policies. They laughed and said, “Come on! If I told you instead of giving you $100 I was going to give you $85, you’d take it.”
Of course, I was dim enough to point out that if my profit margin is 7%, I’d certainly not take the $85 because the law does nothing to lower my costs/expenses, and my company would go broke. They stared. Reality hit one of those guys hard later on, and he filed for bankruptcy.
The LEFT is as oblivious to reality as those guys were. Are they capable of learning when reality hits? I don’t think so.

Even bankruptcies does not seem to get reality for many. I have friends that are three or more bankruptcies in and heading for the next one. Always some republicans fault on why they are screwed up again.
I’m not surprised. If you can believe that a man with butchered genitalia is a woman, you can believe anything. You might even convince yourself that you can “download” your consciousness to an android and live for hundreds of years.

I can’t even.
However, let’s be clear: I support the rights of folks to fulfill their dreams. If you think we can help them by honoring their lifelong ambitions to present as doorknobs, or bathtub drains, with the pronouns appropriate to such entities, so be it. Whatever.
Just don’t expect me to enthusiastically support them in any serious military endeavors with actual life-altering consequences.

We had someone who was a doorknob for 50+ years and still managed to get installed as President.

You mean, other than something for bored surgeons to do that pays a lot?
Of course the big issue is that those “on that side” would claim it’s not a mental illness: they might claim the person’s mind is just fine, it’s their body that doesn’t match up and must be “corrected.” (And that trying to fix their mental problem is messing with their “identity” and hence verboten.)
I simply do not understand who drives the insanity and why? Who does it serve? Not the confused kids it helps destroy. It’s not Biden, he may not be a player in anything except protecting China and his past benefits from them.
If an anorexic person identifies as fat, why not give them gastric bypass surgery.

“No, we just want transvestites and transsexuals to be protected. You should pay for them to transition. Your fears that we will want to groom children to endure irreversible surgeries to change gender is outrageous.”
Who drives the insanity? A coalition of pathological narcissists and hyper-agreeable doormat-people. The narcissists make demands, and the doormat-people, for whom “being mean” is the greatest of all sins, are happy to oblige.
I Walton, I have to assume it comes down to exerting power over others, which is usually the reason. And the costs are horrendous.
This drives me nut–because you’re right! Is there no one on the left who will stand up to truth, integrity, values? Is there no one who doesn’t worry about cancel culture and speaks out against injustice??

One of the key tenets of communism is to destroy the family. Anything that disrupts normalcy is going to be promoted to the hilt, whether it’s birth control and abortion without parental knowledge and consent, or sex change procedures . . .
So true, Stad. Trans certainly promotes wrecking parent/child relationships. Parents are often not told. And if they are, they resist. Then their transphobic. It is a deadly circle.
Since threatening self-harm is now an acceptable part of political discourse, perhaps it’s time for the right to give the left a taste of its own medicine. Perhaps it’s time for us to play the suicide card: “The woke, secular, feminized culture you’re foisting on us all is impeding my own ability to flourish. If I’m not given a wife and 3.5 kids and a house with a picket fence, I’ll off myself!”
. . . On second thought, maybe this isn’t such a good idea. Something tells me the left could live with this offer.

FYI: Abigail Shrier is the woman who wrote Irreversible Damage. I’ve read the book, and it’s downright scary how the left has gotten sex transitioning changed from a long, involved process (to make sure it’s best for the individual) to a freight train that parents and laws cannot stop . . .

Local controversy that’s fueling our school board elections: teachers here were all at some inservice workshop last week where they were instructed that “parents are not entitled to know their kids’ identities. That knowledge must be earned.”
At least three people running for school board election are challenging this. The current school board members have decided that calling their opponents “racist” will help.
The battle lines have been drawn.
