I think the corruption of Wikipedia is a good topic for promotion to the Main Feed.  A co-founder of Wikipedia thinks it is now politicized narrative, so everyone else should be warned.  I am wondering if anybody on Ricochet disagrees.

Wikipedia has its uses, but, as this post illustrates, it’s simply insidious for anything that bumps up against politics or a hot button issue.

    Excellent.

We see them rewrite the news into the favored narrative nearly every day now, why would they not rewrite history too. I covered a few recent examples a while back, here is a good visual of one such event that has been frequently employed by many including some of the anti-intellectual locals:

Well, there’s no provable proof and therefore no reason to look for proof, or evidence, or anything else, which is the core approach of the scientific method circa 2021, doncha know.

Exactly. It can’t be trusted for anything political, and even the biographies of people insufficiently woke are, shall we say, less than charitable.

The wikipedia page for socialism is a prime example. It’s the scene of a continual edit battle, so much so that editing was paused/locked the last time I looked (“This article is semi-protected until October 29, 2021 at 13:19 UTC, due to vandalism.”). The definition at the beginning of the page has become so wishy-washy that it includes a form of the word in the definition: “Socialism is a political, social, and economic philosophy encompassing a range of economic and social systems characterized by social ownership of the means of production.” Social ownership?! A meaningless phrase. So much for the all-encompassing state owning the means of production. We’ll never get the kids on board if they find out government will take over and run Apple, Disney, Facebook, etc.!

The page is a whitewash of the destructive history of socialism in its real world imposed (at the point of a bayonet/gun) occurrences. In other words, you won’t see any death count statistics. Criticism of socialism is limited to one five line paragraph at the very end of the page, and is so vague as to be meaningless.

When everyone claimed Trump told people to literally drink bleach, that was complete fabrication, as well.

Malone announced his removal several hours after sharing his LinkedIn post on Health Canada’s response to concerns raised by him and others about the “spike protein” on COVID-19 mRNA vaccines.

He appears to be referring to the regulator’s new heart-inflammation warnings, directed toward younger male adults and adolescents, on the Pfizer-BioNTech and Moderna vaccines.

“This is certainly a big step forward in my opinion — particularly in contrast to the communication (or lack thereof) and denial from the US and other governments,” according to an incomplete archived version of his LinkedIn post. “At least we are now discussing the merits and limitations of the scientific data.”

It’s the latest allegation of Big Tech suppressing contrarian views on COVID from highly credentialed scientists, even as medical and legal experts call attention to reported risks of mRNA vaccines for younger people, including college students and active-duty military men.

Twitter locked Harvard Medical School epidemiologist Martin Kulldorff out of his account for a month in response to his stated skepticism of the protective power of masks. He took to LinkedIn to share his thoughts and has continued to do so after Twitter reinstated him.

Kulldorff told Just the News that LinkedIn’s action against Malone was “disturbing” but didn’t answer how it would affect his own use of the professional social network. Malone is retweeting followers sharing screenshots of their LinkedIn account cancelations.

“Open debate is especially important during a public health emergency when many important public health question[s] do not yet have a known answer,” Kulldorff wrote in an email. “To censor and silence scientists under such circumstances can lead to many unnecessary deaths,” which is why LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter and YouTube should “restore all suspended accounts.”

Great interview on Wisconsin radio 1310 WIBA/1130 WISN with Dr. Michael Yeadon, the former VP and chief scientist at Pfizer, detailing the risks of the spike protein in the mRNA vaccines–and the near blackout of information about it from BigMedia/BigTech, (22:05) myths about asymtomatic spread, (28:30) hysteria about variants that are 99% the same as the original coronavirus, and more:

    https://wiba.iheart.com/featured/vicki-mckenna/content/2021-07-01-dr-michael-yeadon-on-the-vicki-mckenna-show-full-interview/

Dr. Yeadon, with hundreds of other doctors and scientists, is a contributor to the website/blog Doctors for COVID Ethics:

We are hundreds of doctors and scientists from all corners of the globe. We have written three letters to the European Medicines Agency, urgently warning of short term and long term dangers from COVID-19 vaccines, including clotting, bleeding and platelet abnormalities. We first began warning of blood-related risks before media reports of clotting led to vaccine suspensions around the world.

In the absence of crucial safety data, we are demanding the immediate withdrawal of all experimental gene-based COVID-19 vaccines. We oppose vaccine passports, which threaten public health and violate Nuremberg and other protections. We are warning that ‘health passes’ place coercive pressure on citizens to submit to dangerous medical experimentation, in return for freedoms that once were human rights.
