Lies, Cockroaches, and Adam Schiff

“Lies are like cockroaches: For every one you discover, there are many more that are hidden.” – Gary Hopkins

Wednesday night, Adam Schiff claimed that Donald Trump was responsible for the deaths of thousands of Ukrainians by withholding military aid to pursue Hunter Biden, and to interfere with Joe Biden’s run for the presidency of the United States. This is a lie, a very big lie, from someone who has told many lies in the Democrats’ psychotic obsession with removing President Trump from office.

Left unsaid is that President Obama’s aid to Ukraine was blankets and MRE’s (Meals Ready to Eat), items that aren’t very effective weapons against Russian tanks. Also left unsaid is that Obama’s administration at the same time as denying lethal aid to Ukraine was providing lethal aid to Mexican drug cartels.

This is reason enough to end this impeachment charade.

Ukraine now has the Javelin anti-tank missile, a weapon that Obama refused to provide, and the drug cartels have their weapons that the Obama administration provided.

The man lies like breathing. I wish there was a a big karmic response so that every time he told a lie, a giant boxing glove would appear next to him and punch him in the head. There have to be consequences for this.

I guess when they saw Harry Reid tell lies with impunity from the Senate Floor, they realized that they could tell the biggest whoppers ever and nobody would hold them accountable. Certainly not the voters from the Socialist State of California.

Oh, I expected to be shamed for the inherent violence. Now I feel better.

But really, nothing gets me angrier than lying liars who lie and suffer nothing for it.

I saw Jay Sekulow the other night talking a bit about the strategy for the president’s defense. He said that they’d begin to address all those areas they disagree with (translation: lies, innuendo, etc.) Frankly, I don’t think they’ll have time to do anything else after they counter what’s been said!

Another Ricochetti made a gushing post about how powerful Schiff’s presentation has been at the impeachment trial. Of course Schiff gave an impressive presentation. That is real easy to do when your presentation is disconnected from facts or the truth. That is a major reason lying must have powerful negative consequences.

And I’ll repeat my comment from that other post:

I haven’t watched any of the proceedings and don’t plan to in the future. Why pay attention to the same bunch of crackhead politicians, bureaucrats, and media who conspired to bring us three years of the Russian collusion hoax? Why would anyone pay the slightest attention to Adam Schiff when everything he said for three years regarding Russian collusion was a lie? Why would you possibly believe anything he says? These are the very people who are damaging our democracy and the integrity of our electoral process.

I will repeat my comment about Schiff from Gary’s pitiful post.

“I have known a vast quantity of nonsense talked about bad men not looking you in the face. Don’t trust that conventional idea. Dishonesty will stare honesty out of countenance, any day in the week, if there is anything to be got by it.”

This F ing infuriates me as a Ukrainian American.  How many died during the Obama administration when we gave them nothing but MRE’s and blankets.  Even non lethal aid like body armor was embargoed.  I know because my brother in law got a visit from the FBI for trying to send some.

Please, explain to us how he is not lying.

And if you can’t, Please explain to me how you think it is OK for the prosocution to lie in a trial.

    I’ll wait.

Once again Adam Schiff confuses Trump facts with Obama facts.

Maximun Trump froze the aid from July 25 to Sept 11.   Thats 48 days. Total.

To claim “thousands died” is such a wild exaggeration it’s criminal.

Meanwhile Obama and his buddies stopped any real military aid from getting to Ukraine for years.

The thousands of dead Ukrainians are properly at Obama’s feet.

It does not matter. Schiff is telling Gary what Gary wants to hear. It is pathetic behavior by a putative adult, but there we are.

Just as a side note, an immodest side note if you like, I’m well versed in the history of Ukraine, Poland, the Baltic States, and Russia. I know far more of the history of the present conflict, World War II, and Russian intelligence services from the Bolsheviks to the present day than Adam Schiff does. I’ll put my knowledge of this part of Europe up against any member of the House, or Senate. Adam Schiff knows little, or nothing of these issues, and the history of this region.

Makes it easier to lie when you are unencumbered by knowledge. (Of course it is even easier when few other are, as well.)

How would one go about accurately measuring the number of Ukrainians dead due to Trump’s withholding of aid (which wasn’t withheld past the deadline in any case, or so I have been led to believe)?

    Assuming the number isn’t zero.

Since Schiff is so concerned about the fairness of the 2020 election wouldn’t we want to know if the possible Democratic party nominee acted corruptly regarding the Ukraine? I believe Schiff thought it appropriate to know that about the 2016 election when a Republican nominee was involved, even though the Democrats actively colluded with the Kremlin to make the accusations!

I’m gaining more and more respect for Trey Gowdy. He pointed out that if Shifty keeps insisting that we have an instance of “unprecedented” abuse of power, he has opened the door to calling witnesses to determine if there is in fact no precedent. Witnesses such as Slow Joe and Obung himself.
