At least when Bush was reading “My Pet Goat” on 9/11, he didn’t know in advance that planes would be flying into the Towers.  Remember how much grief he got for that.

    What’s Obama’s excuse?

His next step is going before the school’s model UN to plead for a sternly worded letter to be written.

Bad optics but fitting. Perfectly fitting for a president and his foreign policy team that have a child’s view of the world.

Has anybody noticed how his frequent usage of the word ‘uhh’ underlined his commitment to the message he was delivering?

Oh well, Monday was a snow day in Washington.  Our enemies know when to make their moves.

    Jon,

The combination of preening arrogance, insipid genderlessness, and total incompetence just takes your breath away.

    I’m developing a facial tick.

I think that last Friday, as Russia was invading or preparing to invade the Crimea, the President was at a late afternoon Democrat function in DC saying it’s Happy Hour for Democrats. I was surprised that hasn’t garnered additional ridicule.

It feels like a fish in a barrel kind of thing at this point.

I’m much more worried about the fact that 52% (roughly) of the people voted this fraud in twice, he’s still above 40% approval and that the opposition party isn’t appreciably better.

I mean, how is it possible that 40% of us still approve of this bozo?

I agree.  It’s got to be fake.  There’s just no way a WH committee decided this could be a good idea.

CuriousKevmo @ #26 writes: “I mean, how is it possible that 40% of us still approve of this bozo?” You express my shared astonishment perfectly. As frustrated as i am with Obama and all his feckless idiotic policies, I am even more frustrated by my fellow citizens that are foolish enough (or blind enough) to continue to support the man. When Obama was re-elected, after four dismal years, I realized America had passed the tipping point. Its citizenry was now more than 50% fools.

My first thought when reading the post: “My Pet Goat”. Is the guy’s brain starting to rot or something? He seems to be getting dumber every day.

I think his speech should have gone like thus:

    A is “Accountability”.

    B is for “Blunder”.

    C is for “Crimea”.

    D is for “Defenceless”.

    E is for “Eggregious”.

F is for [I know it, you know it, let’s move on].

    G is for “Grrrrr”.

H is for “Hillary,” whose fault this must be.

    I is “Obama”.

J is “Jews, who are somehow also to blame”.

    K is for “Kremlin”.

    L is for “Loser”.

M is for “Move On from this”.

    N is for “Never Again”.

    O is for “Obfuscation”.

    P is for “Pussy Riot”.

    Q is for “Quitter”.

    R is for “Red Line”.

    S is for “Sorry”.

    T is for “Timoschenko”.

    U is for “uninvolved”.

    V is for “Vladimir”.

    W is for “What happened?”

    X is for…. something….

    Y is for “Yalta”.

    Z is for “Zero tolerance”.
