You Is Smart!
During a discussion with a friend I was lauding the praises of Ricochet (always hoping to get new members) and told her the members were an assorted collection of fun personalities and some of the smartest folks around. She asked why I held that ‘opinion’. I told her it’s not an opinion. That we literally have rocket scientists amongst the top professionals from medical, legal and academia. She replied, “I know a lot of dumb lawyers”. I tacitly had to agree.
So I came home and jumped on The Google to reinforce my point and found this at Alexa.com. Not that everyone who’s gone to graduate school is brilliant, but…
Everyone, please welcome the newest Ricochet member @LisaKoers.

Lies. The PIT is made of awesome in bourbon and sass form.
Welcome, Lisa! Great to meet you briefly over pizza at the Stonehaus Restaurant with the rest of the Ricoteers. Ricochet can be a lot of fun and very insightful when we’re not slinging food at one another. Some of the personal stories in particular can be quite inspiring. Look forward to your contributions and your comments. All the best.
@docjay… I’m blonde. Zombies don’t come near me :-)))

@frontseatcat @lisakoers Special heads up.
Thank you @arahant !
Thanks for the chart, Dave. I wish it had a line for folks like me, who chose the military over college. You know, The College Of The Real World.
Hi @LisaKoers and welcome. Find a good topic and write a quick Post. You’ll get all these ‘Likes’ and a big pile of great comments, and you’ll be hooked. That’s what happened to me.
Stay away from a Presidential subject for your first one, though. That’s like setting everyone’s hair on fire.
Yes, try a Quote of the Day, instead. Tomorrow is available.
Is it true that Hillary Clinton is a Cubs fan?
Yeah, like this:
Donald Trump took an ax,
Gave GOP guys forty whacks.
When he saw what he had done,
Gave Ms. Hillary forty-one.
When she ran for Senate in New York, she claimed that she rooted for the New York Yankees too.
Not out loud she didn’t. Her nose has never been broken.
@jctpatriot – thank you for your service!!! I seriously have to post something? I can’t just make encouraging comments? Hehehehe…
Really, all y’all have been fantastic! I do appreciate the encouragement & if there is anyone in particular I should follow re: sports, Cubs, auto racing, old Hollywood- please let me know! Or anything regarding Reagan! (I’m afraid to ask for the best political posts to follow! Ha!)
@titustechera @garymcvey @ejhill and doesn’t @brianwatt have a group for cinema buffs?
She was both a Cubs and a Yankee fan when she was running for Senator from NYC. Obama claimed to be a big White Sox fan, but knew little about the team.
I believe Killary was quoted as saying “it was too hard being only a Cub fan”
that explains her character, or rather, lack there of…
He pronounce “Comiskey” as “Cominskey.” He was in the booth and the announcers asked him who his favorite player was. He couldn’t name one. Not one.
2003 Cubs joke – Harry Caray gets to heaven and asks God when the Cubs will win a World Series. “Not in my lifetime”, replies God.
Hahahaha!
if I have to say something nice I guess it would be at least he didn’t call it The Cell. But you think a Community Organizer would know how to properly pronounce Comiskey.
???
sounds like a joke Hildabeast would tell!
