For those of you who couldn’t make our live broadcast, we present A Night with John Yoo.

John spends an hour+ with Ricochet Editor Emeritus Troy Senik to talk about his new book, “Defender in Chief,” to reminisce about clerking on the Supreme Court and his time in the Bush 43 Administration and legacy as “the torture memo lawyer.”

During a discussion with a friend I was lauding the praises of Ricochet (always hoping to get new members) and told her the members were an assorted collection of fun personalities and some of the smartest folks around. She asked why I held that ‘opinion’. I told her it’s not an opinion. That we literally have rocket scientists amongst the top professionals from medical, legal and academia. She replied, “I know a lot of dumb lawyers”. I tacitly had to agree.

So I came home and jumped on The Google to reinforce my point and found this at Alexa.com. Not that everyone who’s gone to graduate school is brilliant, but…
