One of disappointments of emerging from a childhood filled with Saturday Morning’s of Road Runner episodes, was to discover that one could not obtain and and order from that marvelous ACME catalog.

I have this amazing image of Justice Thomas saying “Meep Meep.”
My oldest brother was a huge fan, and every year we got Christmas presents ordered from Edmond – my favorite was a snowflake preservation kit. I had to perfectly time a drop of the solution on a microscope slide, then catch a snowflake. Those were the days when parents didn’t freak out about 10-year-olds handling little pieces of sharp glass.
