What does it say about this country that we would allow a demented senior citizen to be in charge of an entire nation? In any other situation, would we permit someone to endanger millions of people, even if he’s not capable of being in charge? Don’t we have a responsibility to remove this person from his position of power before he does serious damage?

People seem to think there are enough guard rails to make sure that he doesn’t “hurt” himself or others. The military, his staff, and other agencies seem unified in their determination to cover for him and make sure that the dangers are limited. They hold the reins tightly enough to keep him under control and make sure that he makes no decisions that could be catastrophic.

That’s what they think.

To allow politics to be the final arbiter in that decision is frightening and dangerous. To allow an empty suit to appear on the world stage, negotiate with world enemies and wield the power of the presidency is alarming.

Even his wife isn’t prepared to protect him.

Does anyone care about protecting this country?

The man is not in charge of anything except  protecting the Chinese.  We should make every effort to get rid of him.   If we wait for the elections before doing anything the Chinese will have completed their main thrust.  They must shrink their economy because their big relatively independent business folks are getting  powerful so they can’t take too long to reduce  their vigor so they must first make us a non threat.   Let me be clear.  We must make every effort to win the elections against who ever they put up. ( it won’t be Biden I don’t know why we go along with the fiction)  but we  have to be prepared to stop funding the Federal government so robustly, allowing the left  to control public schools.  Crazy?  Of course.  But our top and a lot of the middle is simply rotten.  That’s the way the world always worked.  We were different and we tossed it away.

If the Chinese fight us, we can pay for it by confiscating their property in the US.

Of course, the Chinese would retaliate by confiscating our assets there, but I would take our farmland over a cellphone assembly plant in China.

With leadership we can handle the Chinese but we don’t have leadership and are likely to fail to get it.  They want to end us and we’re letting this senile old man they control remain as President.   We are told regularly that the Chinese are no longer growing rapidly and we can still outgun and control them.   With leadership that’s true, but they know what they want and how to get it and our leaders don’t or are already working with them not just in their businesses but politically.

We could confiscate their property in the US if we want to and are willing to suffer the pain they can put on us.  The same is true in the countries in South and Central America the Chinese control, sometimes through Venezuela and old Communists as is happening in Colombia and other places with Chinese investments which are becoming dominant.  We’re not paying attention. The Chinese are.

On the question of whether Jill could have stopped him, I wonder if she’d had the courage to tell him the truth about his mental state. Could she have insisted that he be tested, or she would refuse to be his first lady. Yes, I know that’s wishful thinking, but I know that I would do everything I could to stop my husband from taking on a dangerous task.

Well, Jill may be working on getting Joe out. The problem is Kamala. For the Democrats, a demented Joe is better than Kamala. Perhaps Jill was making nice with Mr Kamala to try to get him to persuade Kamala to go first so a credible VP could be put in place before Joe exits stage left. This all is a little dicey for the Dems with McCarthy in the wings.

Mayor Pete recently announced that he is not running for Michigan’s Senate seat.  If Kamala decides to “spend more time with her family,” Pete may offer the diversity profile the hard core progressives will demand.  Besides, he has already spent more time with his family.

I’m going on 58 years old.  When I was a second grader in Wilmington, DE Joe was my county councilman.  Let that sink in.
