Campaign Promise: No Mean Tweets in 2024

With the midterm elections coming and possible 2024 candidates dipping their toes in the political pool, Americans want a guarantee — be nice and civil, and that means no mean tweets. Mark Alexander posts the “Funnies” on the Ricochet Member Feed, for which I am grateful for the many laughs. This is a good one that deserves further comments or additions.

Making America energy independent, bringing back manufacturing and jobs; securing the borders from drugs and criminals; and asking that illegals coming into our country follow the law and enter through legal channels like other countries; teach English, math, science, and history to our children instead of gender fluidity; support our brave law enforcement, military and other first responders; and clean up our unlivable cities and towns by creating opportunity instead of ignoring the homeless and sick — these are secondary in importance.

The most important is that we must have no more mean tweets!

Front Seat Cat: Americans want a guarantee – be nice and civil, and that means no mean tweets.

My takeaway from 2020 is that Americans like a mean/nasty candidate, when the mainstream media supports him.

And 2016.  MSM intentionally ignored every Republican candidate who wasn’t named Trump, thinking that if they could get him nominated the general would be a no-brainer.  Turned out it was.

I think we should acknowledge the overall misdirection underlying the picture as presented.

Everything listed that hurts America helps the Chinese Communists.

Our education approach has created a simple-mindedness among our American people that allows mean tweets to rise above all else and distract our nation. Amazing!

Boy would I like some mean tweets right about NOW! Maybe there won’t be any more Tweets…just Truisms.

Ron DeSantis posts mean Tweets. But they are thoughtful and fact-based and make his arguments. (Biden “posts” Mean Tweets as well, but he doesn’t write them.)

The NT’s have finally convinced us.  No more mean tweets will get us to the promised land.

That’s a good one!  You are right – DeSantis is so mean, and has more common sense in his baby fingernail than……well, you fill it in……..

Indeed.  I was trying to use Truth Social as the basis for naming Trump’s new messaging…Twitter/ Tweets, Truth Social/ Truisms. But I’m sure there’s something better.

Mark my word, no matter who GOP nominate in 2024 – Corporate media will be calling him/her worse than Trump.

Maximum Boot has already written a column saying DeSantis is worse than Trump.

Exactly. It is time that the gOpE, and it’s cheerleaders here and elsewhere, get this through their heads. There is no such thing as a Republican who is acceptable to the DNC-run media. Forget about trying to appease them. Get behind the fighter. The base of the Republican Party will not accept any candidate who is not ready to go toe-to-toe with the democrat party and their hallelujah chorus in the mainstream media.

    Please clap.
