On this episode of “The Federalist Radio Hour,” Assistant Editor Kylee Zempel joins Culture Editor Emily Jashinsky to discuss why “Bachelor” host Chris Harrison was unfairly canceled and what this “unbelievably alarming” attempt by the mob to end dissenting opinions means for America.

Even though I’m not a reality show watcher, this was a great discussion about cancel culture and the influence it is having on America and the world. Thanks.

For so long Corporate America has been able to ignore the Economic Middle. The Middle that is The Ark of our founding values – Christian (compassion, forgiveness, generosity, hope) and Patriotic (freedom, justice, opportunity, unified diversity). The Middle was focused on making a better life for their family, their church, their community. Corporate America counted on these pre-occupations for their profit and power. The rebound of Goya and My Pillow after cancelling. The tanking of Fox and rise of alternate news should alert them. The Middle is paying attention and speaking with their hard earned cash. You will not abolish and denigrate what they hold most dear. It will cost you.

    Hope you’re right.

But so far we’ve been unable to get conservatives to even stop using Amazon and Google!

”For the last week in January, Fox News returned as the top-rated news network in primetime averaging 2.6 millionviewers, as CNN and MSNBC posted audience declines post inauguration”—Forbes.

Conservatives were probably consuming less news for a while, rather than watch Democratic victory laps.

As for Fox it was betrayal felt by Trump loyalists…not victory laps they were avoiding. They are not quite so shallow. The viewership stats from 2/7/2021 show a Primetime drop of 2M viewers since 10/18/2020 and 1.1M drop in Total Day viewers per Nielsen. (Careful of dates on articles. Saw misleading stuff for published vs actual written dates online). We have also seen multiple censuring due to the way GOP pols voted. When did the base, less the Tea Party, ever care enough to make that happen?  How about the Tech migration happening? It’s not The Left, but the Middle right shifting. The wave is coming. Trump has been quiet. The base is processing. But it’s coming…
