Today’s podcast begins with the Biden administration’s increasing schizophrenia on the Gaza war and then proceeds to a powerful discussion of the elite war on the American middle class, based on our own Christine Rosen’s landmark article in the current edition of COMMENTARY. Give a listen.

Christine is the best commentator on this podcast.

JPOD drives he me crazy with his excuses for Biden.  The Trump admin created the Abraham Accords and was well on the way to extending it to Saudi Arabia. Clueless joe set this in motion by killing us energy production, trying to re-ignite the foolish relationship with Iran, releasing Iran funds, releasing funds for Hamas/Gaza,  removing the Houthis from terror watch group.

I agree with the panelists that Christine’s piece on the middle class was groundbreaking and excellent. I think “The Simmering Middle Class” would have been the perfect title. As for the Candace Owens piece, I don’t know much about her, but from what I read in the magazine and then heard today, I wonder if — like our last two presidents — she has any true political beliefs at all or just performs in the way calculated to be best for her at the moment.

Lastly, I want John to know I rely on New York Times reviewers to make viewing, listening, reading choices — if they trash it, I buy it because it must be good. Decades ago, the Times book section was Must-Read. Now I have recently stopped even clicking on the book reviews because they are all either woke books or woke authors. Some might actually be good, but we have no way of knowing if it is in the Times because it’s good or simply because it is woke.

I don’t listen to Owens so I do not know if she is an act or not.  If she was, is GOPe angry because she is doing what people like Bill Kristol did for decades?
