Not Wasting Time: 17 Executive Orders From Day One

We all knew that the New Regime would work quickly to “cancel” the Trump Administration’s actions on behalf of the American People.  Here is what has been released today, January 20, 2021, before Day One is over.  And this is only the beginning.   I have added “cui bono” reaction (who benefits) in italics.

  1.  Issues 100-Day Masking Challenge to the entire nation.  Masks to be required on citizens in all Federal buildings, on all Federal land (I assume this includes national parks).  I can’t see that anyone benefits, except the Federal Bureaucracy gains more power over us.
  2. Rejoins the World Health Organization, and Dr. Fauci becomes head of the US delegation to WHO.  Communist China benefits since they control the WHO.
  3. Create a Covid-19 Response Coordinator.  Unknown if this is a new position, with requisite high salary, benefits, and pension.  Only the person in that position will benefit from the increased federal spending.
  4. Extends nationwide eviction moratorium to March 31.  Renters in government housing benefit; landlords forced closer to bankruptcy since they cannot collect rent from those who are using their property.
  5. Suspension of payments on all federal student loans extended until the end of September.  Graduate students, med students, doctors, lawyers, others with high salaries benefit from more income they do not have to use to pay back their loans.  The US Treasury is denied those funds, and the US Public suffers.
  6. Rejoins the Paris Climate Accords.  No-one benefits, the economy will suffer greatly.  Watch for it.
  7. Cancels the Keystone-XL Pipeline project.  No-one benefits, but many workers will be thrown out of jobs, energy will cost more, and we alienate our Ally, Canada.  Maybe “green energy” interests benefit from more federal largesse.
  8. Rescind the Trump 1776 Commission.  Continues the re-write of American History.  No one benefits, and American children will continue to be taught that America is Evil.
  9. Prevents workplace “discrimination” on basis of sexual orientation or “gender identity”.  The LGBTQXYZ Lobby benefits, as do Plaintiffs Attorneys.
  10. Requires non-citizens to be counted in the census, for congressional redistricting.  Illegal Aliens and the DemocRat Party benefit from all the new Dem voters instantly given voting “rights”.
  11. Fortifies DACA.  Illegal Aliens benefit.  They vote Dem, so the DemocRat Party benefits.
  12. Reverses the Trump Administration restrictions on immigration from majority-Muslim countries.  Radical Islam benefits.
  13. Undoes the expansion of immigration enforcement inside the US under Trump.  Illegal Aliens benefit.
  14. Halts construction on the Mexico border wall by rescinding the emergency declaration that authorized it.  Illegal Aliens and border-crossers benefit.  This is an open invitation for more illegals to cross the southern border.
  15. Extends deferral of deportation for Liberians under “safe harbor” provisions, to 2022.  Illegal Liberians in the US benefit.
  16. Required Executive Branch appointees to sign an “ethics pledge” that they will not work for their own interests.  Maybe just for The Party’s interests?
  17. Directs OMB director to develop recommendations to “modernize” regulatory review, and undoes the Trump regulatory approval process.  What this means is more regulations everywhere in the US economy, making doing any kind of business in the US more difficult.  Increases the quantity of “red tape” that all businesses have.  The Regulatory State benefits.

What do all of the above executive orders have in common?  The American Public is hurt by every single one. You, the Taxpayers of America, will find smaller paychecks, higher taxes, higher gas, and other energy prices, fewer new jobs, and little to no representation in Congress.  Your children are already taught that America was founded on Racism, Imperialism, and Discrimination; they are taught that people are destroying this planet; they are taught that they can be whatever sex they feel like they are today, starting now in kindergarten.  This is not going to go well for America.

Oh, yes, and you will have no outlets to complain about anything that will be happening to you because the Big Tech companies will only allow the speech that they deem acceptable.  Since Google, Facebook, Twitter, and Amazon will be increasingly ascendant, your speech will be throttled at every turn.  Get used to it.

Just as Trump erased Obama’s executive orders with new ones, Biden is doing the same to Trump’s. No way to govern a country.

The difference is that B**** not only wants to eliminate what Trump has done, he wants to eliminate all Trump voters.  I will be posting on RushBabe49.com as often as I can.  I hope they don’t try to shut me down too.

Just so.  We need to put a stop to this, and it shouldn’t be a partisan issue.  I don’t like Biden’s, but how can you argue when it’s tit for tat.

I’m pretty well insulated myself, but I expect that a lot of otherwise-sensible people who waited too long to leave the leftist enclaves of PRC (People’s Republic of California) etc, might be stuck if they don’t leave quickly.  And it might already be too late.

Regarding most people who will have no job, higher gas and other energy prices, etc… well, they’ll be getting what they voted for.  Enjoy!

I’m saving up my best laughing for relatives, and idiot neighbors etc I left behind in Phoenix, if they ever complain to me about their bills increasing, etc.

Avril Haines, the Obama Administration retread has just been confirmed by the Senate for DNI.  Here is her “platform”, the Intelligence Community is going to protect us from:

“climate change, cyber attacks, terrorism, global organized crime and corruption, disinformation campaigns and more.”

Disinformation campaigns by whom, do you think?

The president presides, the executive executes; it’s the way the system works.  The real problem is that the legislative branch has sluffed off so much legislative power to the executive.

Disagree.  I tend to subscribe to Heinlein’s maxim that it should be easier to repeal laws than to enact them, and executive orders are pretty much the only small corner of American government where it’s at least as easy to repeal as it is to enact, if not easier.

See DACA, which was illegal from minute One, and the courts stopped its elimination.  The Courts are Evil in this regard.  Also see Kennedy’s EO that allowed government-employee unions.  Destructive since 1960.

Pretty clear that this will be four years of gestures that (a) attack the substance of Trump’s policies — more anti-Trump that pro-anything (b) are easily reducible to sound bites that even a CNN anchor can understand and (c) may or may not have any effect.

For example, the Paris Accord is not binding because to be a binding treaty it requires 2/3 of the Senate or legislation to impose drastic curbs on energy use which are highly unlikely to be enacted. But the immigration actions, on the other hand,  are damaging because all he has to do is not enforce the law. Blue states will also find ways to add them to the voter rolls.

Does Jake Tapper and the tech czars have enough lipstick for the emerging Biden pig? Can people be persuaded not to believe their own lying eyes and their bank account balances?  There is no way that Biden or even Harris will get the affection and general pass that Obama got, which affection offset his incompetence and sophomoric vision.

Of course.  There will be NO acknowledged opposition to anything the new regime does.  All conservative opposition will be suppressed, always and everywhere.  The Senate has already shown that all his appointments will be confirmed by large margins, and the Republican Party will be destroyed, totally.  DNI confirmed 89-10!

I did refer to the mostly-sensible people.  I agree the left SHOULD stay, and most of them probably WILL stay because they think they can just live there for free, and have everything provided.  PRC already has something like 60% of all welfare cases in the whole country, last I heard.  And they might attract even more as thing go downhill.

The ones who try to flee from what they’ve created, should be blocked somehow, but I don’t think it’s legally possible.  Or at least it’s probably not legal for other states to keep them out.  But PRC may do their damnedest to keep them IN, because the leach needs something to feed off…

If people complain about their standard of living declining because of the Democrats’ actions, the Democrats will say in unison, “Your problems are Donald Trump’s fault.” That’s how the PLO, Hamas, and Hezbollah operate. Whenever the Arabs complain about poverty or injustice, these thugs have a ready answer: Israel. And getting two for the price of one, they have sent their underlings and brainwashed followers on a holy mission to destroy the oppressors.

    Tyrants are all the same.

The answer is for the FIRST branch of government, the Legislature, to do its stinking job. Any congress critter posturing about the Biden EOs must be primaried if he or she has not already come out publicly in an effort to push McConnell and McCarthy out of their “leadership” positions. Do not share clips of Republicans “owning” Biden officials in hearings or floor speeches. Shove those speeches down their staffers’ throats as frauds unless they first took the real risk of publicly “owning” their own congressional party leaders.

John Roberts is Bush the Younger’s only real Supreme Court appointee, his one true expression of his real intent. Justice Alito was crammed down Bush’s throat after his Texas crony, Harriet Miers, was defeated by conservative talk radio (a shining moment for Laura Ingraham, for which Bush has never forgiven her) and an outraged Republican base. Roberts perfectly represents the Bush family.
