Yeah, I agree. But I think they are going after his blood. They will find a way to cancel him. Evil is always 10 steps ahead.

Never Trumpers can’t produce a candidate who can match that speech. We will remind them of that every Biden blunder. Meanwhile, may God bless Trump and his family.

Thank you for posting this. I am so sad this evening, but this parting message with so much encouragement, and reminding us all that we have achieved with President Trump, we are indeed very lucky. It is a laundry list of no small achievements, but very big and many said, difficult accomplishments. It was Trump’s love of country and all the people that made it possible. God bless him and his family, and parting administration.

I do pray for and hope for the success of the incoming administration. We have to give them respect and a chance.

That chance will be squandered on Biden’s very first day. You watch for the executive orders he will immediately sign.

    That was pretty amazing.

My only critique would be that I wish he had slowed down a little, relished every one of those accomplishments he listed, let us relish them too. By rushing it he made me feel, sadly, like he maybe just wanted to get back in his limo and head for Florida, stopping only to shake the dust off his sandals as he left Washington.

The list of accomplishments was astounding. I ask my friends on the left, what in the hell else do you want from a President?? THAT’S exactly the kind of achievement you should be dreaming of. What is it you think a leader of a country is supposed to aim for??

I was never a big Trump . . . noticer, I guess. He had a TV show I never saw, I was only tangentially aware of his accomplishments in real estate and casinos and whatever. Seemed like a flamboyant and energetic dude, but not really on my radar much.

But watching him for this past four years, watching him take on them, watching him say everything to them that I have been sitting in my little chair squeaking out at them, watching him roll up his sleeves and stride forward and try to drive leftism out of out politics like Gandalf drove Saruman out of Theoden, I came away a huge fan of the man. He will be sorely missed.

Interesting that, even at his age, and after what he’s been through this past four years, he is the only President of my lifetime that did not seem to age in office – he looks stacked, packed, and ready to go another 12 rounds. Everybody else aged 20 years under that schedule.

Mr. Trump? You go girl. You have my respect, and my great gratitude.

Against charges that Trump was a grifter, Trump’s presidency probably cost him and his family hundreds of millions of dollars of wealth.

Against charges that Trump didn’t advance the issues important to his base, Trump was way out ahead of the rest of the Republican party which remains beholden to corporate interests thoroughly antagonistic to the base.

Against charges that Trump was incompetent, the establishment certainly feared him and pulled out all stops to oppose and defeat him. They burned up their own prestige and credibility and will be paying for that for years.

Against charges that Trump was a political liability, Trump’s showmanship remains unmatched across the political spectrum. This was an important part of his success and won’t be easily replicated.

I genuinely worry for him and his family. They are going after them on all fronts and I don’t think they will stop. It’s the only thing that motivates them.

    This was a fine speech.

I was happy to see President Trump looking so healthy. The Presidency often takes quite a toll on a man, and it shows in his appearance. President Trump doesn’t appear to have aged much, if at all, and looked healthy and fit, even a bit slimmer than usual.

I’ve said it many times in these pages but I’ll say it one more time; if Trump didn’t do a single other thing, he deserves our thanks for exposing the Main Stream Media for the empty frauds that they are. They will never be believed again except by the ill-educated morons that our education system is producing. Granted they are a large number but that just makes them easier to ridicule.

The Trump presidency: never as bad as his detractors claimed, and never as good as his own rhetoric. I agreed with many of his intended goals, but many of these achievements will be undone because they were enacted by executive power without the strength of legislative passage. Congress bears equal responsibility, but it’s a reminder why we can’t pin our hopes and dreams on every presidential election.

Great farewell speech, too bad it’s four years too soon.

It’s a great speech. I’m afraid it was also 4 months too late. I wish this would have been the Trump that showed up for the debates and in Georgia. I wish this had been the man of the post election process. Knowing that he has this in him and permitted the worser demons of his nature (so to speak) to predominate makes me sadder still. And his enemies–they never were just his opponents–will never let him or us forget the appearance of that devil.

And we will never know if those demons might have laid dormant if those enemies had acted with even a modicum of human decency. Who among us might not have acted with the same fury if we (and everyone around us) had been torn at, slandered, ridiculed and treated to every other form of bestial behavior by the political/media/entertainment “elites” of our time?

America will never be the same; not because of Trump but because of his enemies. I was never fully on board with Trump. “Appalachian-Americans” like myself are always a bit suspicious of boisterous New York-types. But, in seeing how he and his wife were treated, I will never have anything but a cold hatred toward those so-called “elites”.
