3pm

It is reported that the Media is upset because I got into a secure vehicle to say thank you to the many fans and supporters who were standing outside of the hospital for many hours, and even days, to pay their respect to their President. If I didn’t do it, Media would say RUDE!!!

I will be leaving the great Walter Reed Medical Center today at 6:30 P.M. Feeling really good! Don’t be afraid of Covid. Don’t let it dominate your life. We have developed, under the Trump Administration, some really great drugs & knowledge. I feel better than I did 20 years ago!

5pm

STOCK MARKET UP BIG, 466 Points!  28,149. Great News for America. Jobs, Jobs, Jobs!

He then told a hard truth the leftist lying scum running Twitter feared and so deleted.

6pm

Will be back on the Campaign Trail soon!!! The Fake News only shows the Fake Polls.

On this point, and the next tweet, see Steven Hayward of Power Line on Monday: ” Trump: Still living rent-free in the heads of liberalsTrump: Still living rent-free in the heads of liberals.”

And about that election thing: there is simply no way that Trump is 14 points behind Biden, as the poll Paul wrote about yesterday contends. Or maybe he is, kinda like last time:

Hillary Clinton Leads Donald Trump by 14 Points Nationally in New Poll

Hillary Clinton has widened her lead over Donald Trump, polling 14 percentage points ahead nationally, according to a new Associated Press-GfK poll, which comes 12 days before the presidential election. Conducted after the final presidential debate, the poll finds the Democratic nominee leads Trump among likely voters 51% to 37%, a significant lead over the Republican candidate.

Now, I can point to defects in the NBC/Wall Street Journal poll that comes up with the 14 point lead, or I can point to the other recent polls showing the race within 2 – 3 points.

7pm President Trump capped off Monday with four tweets:

“You see it in enthusiasm for the President outside Walter Reed Hospital. You see it in Registrations, from Florida to Pennsylvania & West Virginia, where Republicans are outstripping Democrats by 2 to 1. If the President bounces back onto the campaign trail, he will be an….

….invincible hero, who not only survived every dirty trick the Democrats threw at him, but the Chinese virus as well. He will show America we no longer have to be afraid.” @MirandaDevine @NYPost  Thank you Miranda. Was over until the Plague came in from China. Will win anyway!

    Two cautionary notes:

It is not uncommon for those with Covid to have an initial set of symptoms, seem to be better for a few days, and then develop another set of symptoms.  I know someone who went through that sequence.  If he remains okay for the next week, which I hope he does, then he’s out of the woods.

Dexamethasone regimes can get you pretty hopped up and aggressive.  Since that is Trump’s normal state it may not make a difference but if it does who knows how he may act or what may come out of his mouth.

So continued prayers for his health and buckle up for an outrageous week?

Trump is pretty healthy for a 74 yo.  And they carpet bombed him with meds early, dexamethasone, remdesivir, antibodies, Vit D, Vit C and zinc.  It also shows how much progress we have made since March in the treatment.

Don’t forget the Prilosec.  I was in Costco yesterday and they had moved a pallet of Prilosec front and center by the checkout.

Regarding dexamethazone, I might guess that he is at the low end of a 36-72 hour half-life.

My super-lefty brother-in-law took that series of tweets and made a collage of them, and proceeded to rant about Trump being hopped up on steroids.  Sigh.  Family.

Ask him if he admired JFK and thought he was a great President?

Who  was chronically on steroids and speed.

And the press helped conceal the fact he was deathly ill from Addisons Disease.

    Huh. That’s new.

The press covered for his affairs, too. I have this great book somewhere in my library about the Love Affair between John and Jackie. They just loved each other so very much.

It is an interesting development in this  weird campaign. The “White Supremacist” issue that caused the Fox White House reporter to freak out, the fact that the prominent cases of virus in DC are all Republicans (Hmmm), the hysteria about him going back to the White House.  Crazy times.

Does any lefty still admire JFK? I doubt he would be admitted to the party, these days. (“Ask not….” “We will fight any….”) He’s a prime candidate for the cancel culture, I would think. (IF they were consistent, that is.)

No Democrat before the 1980’s would be admired to the party today.  A few fossils like Slow Joe and his ilk have managed to hang on, but they are definitely just tolerated at this point.

But most still get all misty eyed about Jack and Bobby. Blech.

So, continued prayers are in order for the president and First Lady, as to another wave of symptoms, but they are walking examples of the huge shift in treatment from when we knew so little this past March.

It’s not the only disease that can go through a course like that. I came down with a puking fever near the end of July, got tested for Covid (result:negative) and then started feeling normal. That was week one. In week two I even started riding my bicycle again and felt good, though weaker than usual. Then, at the end of the week had a return of the fever, and nasty joint pains. Week three was miserable. I couldn’t sleep without the pain waking me up. Turned out it was Lyme Disease.

I’m good now. I had to be more deliberate and methodical than ever before in gradually working my way back to long bicycle rides. Once I could even think about riding again I had to have a rest day after even a 4 mile ride around the block. I gradually worked my way up to a 100 mile ride in mid-late September, but still had trouble going without a rest day and extra-extra sleep after a ride of any length. I think I’m just now getting back to normal on that.

My preference would be not to ever go through that again. I’d also prefer not to have enough experience to compare it with Covid-19.

I’m a couple years younger than the President. My advice is like yours: Don’t be in a big hurry to jump to conclusions about the course of the disease.
