93% of Republican Women Support Trump

According to Daniel Henninger, the deputy editor of the opinion page of the Wall Street Journal, 93 percent of Republican women support Trump. His information came from a recent Fox News Poll that also reported the women were even more supportive than their male counterparts who support Trump to the tune of 85 percent. The poll is extensive, so make sure you scroll down for the section where party identification begins.

Lest you believe these women are off in blind la la land, Henninger says, “Which brings us to what may be the greatest Republican political blunder of this generation — failing to fix ObamaCare. The percentage of GOP women who express concern about health care is 77%.”

The article is definitely worth reading as many of us can identify with some of the concerns of these Republican women. We solidly back Trump but are aware of the work that still needs to be done and the necessity for our own politicos to get on board.

The OP was about the percentage of Republican women who support Donald Trump. The man’s attitude toward women is relevant to the discussion.

Looks the opposite to me. It’s about women’s attitude toward the President.

    C’mon, man.

Sorry. We’re not supposed to talk about the dozens of sexual assault allegations against the man? Or the creepy things he says about his daughter? Or how he had an affair with a pornstar while his wife was home with their newborn son?

Of course you can, Fred. But that isn’t what this post is about. If you’d like to go there (again), have at it. Please write your own.

Excuse me, but if 93% of Republican women support Trump, then Donald Trump’s attitudes and behavior are absolutely relevant to the subject being discussed.

My response to the original poster’s remark about healthcare is what lead to her calling out fellow Ricochet members (3 of us, I believe) as “boring”, for “hijacking” a thread (I was attempting to respond to her remark in this thread about healthcare) and for “hatred”. That’s pretty abusive if you ask me.

93% of Republican women may support Trump’s policies but I believe that will change drastically as he kicks over the tracers and we see more of the unfettered Trump. Mattis won’t be the last to find him untenable. I find it completely incredible that 93% of Republican women ever supported Trump, the man. But by all means only engage with those inside your bubble. I don’t want to think about it myself during the holidays.

It was surprising to me that our side didn’t have a great substitution for Obamacare, particularly since we complained about it for the entire Obama presidency.

    Where is Trumpcare?

    Sacred John McCain killed it.

That’s Trump hatred, right? That’s inhibiting a lot of positive action right now.

Please keep this thread on track going forward.  Complaining about people hijacking the thread, and then becoming complicit in their doing so isn’t helpful to your cause.  Thank you.

    No, it is not.

You are also repeating a lie (predator and abuser of women – Kissinger said power is the ultimate aphrodisiac, is he a predator as well?) and stating that Trump supporting women must be willful blind not to agree with you.  This is guaranteed to ignite a firestorm every time.

Here’s a thought – have you tried posting like you act in one-on-one discussions?  I know you can avoid being a troll, people who have met you in person say you are a decent guy.  Trust me, you can be plenty provocative without twisting the knife.  Robert McReynolds always makes me think, same with anonymous.   Both of them are card carrying libertarians – heck, RMR is an anti-federalist!  They have a sense of humor and generally avoid going personal – especially anonymous.

You are a Contributor, Fred.  Just like us Moderators, you wear the Ricochet brand when you post.  That means that we all have to hold to a higher standard than a paying member.  I recommend that you keep that in mind.

Just to clarify, do I get to respond to this?  Or will my response be moderated for derailing the thread?

He killed the Bill Trump described as “too mean”. So where is Trumpcare? Probably in the same place as Mexico paying for the wall.

Where is W’s entitlements reform.  He couldn’t pass it when the Rs had 55 senators.
