Coming Out of the Closet
I just took a pretty big step, did something I’ve never done before. I clicked “like” on a YouTube video.
Yeah, I know. But that’s not all. Then I clicked on the Subscribe button. I know, I know… but I didn’t stop there. I even clicked the notification bell.
I’ve never done anything like this before, believe me. Back in the nineties, I did create a Blogspot blog… spot. But I never posted anything there. I’ve never been on Twitter, Facebook, or any other kind of social media. In fact, until I joined Ricochet, I never posted a single thing anywhere on the Internet. My only presence was to have worked on building some websites, but that was completely anonymous.
I won’t shop online. I won’t use store cards. I won’t even use a debit card; I pay cash for everything, so that I can be totally anonymous both online and in the meat world. My goal has been that when someone looks for me online, the closest they can come to finding me is to locate an empty space where someone should be. I’m the Invisible Man.
I know what you’re thinking … Judge, you’ve opened yourself up to all of the horrible things that happen to people on the Internet; doxxing, identity theft, grooming gangs. I know. I’ve put myself in the position of being in very real danger of all those things. Which is why I thought long and hard before I clicked.
But I feel like we’ve reached to point in this country where it’s time to take a stand. It’s time for the ordinary, everyday people to be ready to put themselves on the line for the good of the country. It’s something that I felt just had to be done, and I’m ready to deal with all the consequences that might result.
It’s time to come out of the closet, stand up and have the courage to be counted.
Oh yeah… you’re probably wondering what the video was. It was a Whiskey Politics podcast, with an interview of Sebastian Gorka. That @davesussman guy does a pretty good interview.

You’re welcome and no problemo. It is a little scary, being out on the high wire like this.
And I like him just fine. He’s probably my favorite Gorka.
By the way, YouTube has throttled WhiskeyPolitics. Many of our videos were getting 5 figure views and lately, we are not getting exposure. Much of that was based on ‘suggested’ content (when someone watched a conservative video (Klavan, Shapiro, Crowder, etc) we used to come up for the viewer to click). So if anyone is enjoying the episodes which we work hard to create, (@6ft2inhighheels produces WP and burns a lot of hours) please share the videos so we can build up a larger audience on YouTube.
Self-serving plug <off>
Without self-serving plugs no one would ever read any of my stuff.
Sebastian Gorka is a brilliant man and has the full support of the @HappyWarriors.
I’m already subscribed, and I just gave this video a thumbs-up.
I heard a noise outside. It’s probably a rape gang.
Well, don’t join them no matter how much they beg. You’re already in enough trouble for liking Dave’s video.
I don’t think they want me to join. I think they want me to think about England.
I’ve come to the same conclusion. Together we stand; divided we fall.
He’s one of my favorites when I catch him on Fox – very smart guy. I’m trying to figure out why @judgemental is off the grid….
Easy man; count your blessings. The alternative is having him on the grid.
I spent 30+ years writing code for data mining. I know what I could do with all the data that people give away about themselves.
So, with that light a digital footprint and no online POL, you up for some invigorating W9 contract work? Only no W9, it’s kind of a cash-on-the-barrel-head thing. Got a passport?
I’ve said enough here; a courier will stop by with some specs…
Where exactly will the courier stop? If you can derive his address from what you know of him online then he’s probably not the person you’re looking for.
You failed
Well I find You Tube very useful any time I want to repair anything. Chances are someone or several someones will have posted a video on exactly how to do the task I want to achieve. Calling the actual manufacturer of the item almost never works, but the amateur videos on You-Tube almost always do!
I guess I’d better hurry up and get that Mossberg shotgun I’ve been thinking about.
That’s never the wrong reaction.
It’s useful for finding out how to field strip weapons, too.
Funny thing is there is a Judge Mental on YouTube. But that’s not me.
Sure thing, as long as you understand that I don’t go outside.
I also can’t figure out what POL is. There’s nothing I can think of coming after ‘piece of’ that would make sense.
Profit ond Loss.
@randywebster, go with the KSG-15. Trust me.
@judgemental: Pattern of life. Sorry.
I was confused too. I only could come up with Petrol, Oil, and Lubricants.
Ah. Thanks for the advice, Boss.
Wow, that looks really bannable.
Hahaha!
I think there’s supposed to be a “lie back” in there somewhere.
