The Standard Reaction to London’s Mass Murder

Get ready. Here are the steps:

  1. This has nothing to do with Islam and he does not represent Islam.
  2. Claim it to be the religion of peace.
  3. It’s blowback for the west being in the Middle East.
  4. The guy was mentally ill.
  5. It is “lone wolf attack.”
  6. It’s just part of living in a big city.
  7. Claim Christians do these things too.
  8. Those who object are racist bigots.
  9. Change Facebook profile to flag of inflicted country.
  10. Light some candles, hold a vigil and go on a peace march.
  11. Some lad will sing “Imagine.”
  12. Forget the dead.
  13. Have articles banging on about how we have to protect Muslims.
  14. Ignore the attacker’s religion, motivations, or ideology.
  15. Claim Muslims are the real victims.
  16. Wait for the next Islamic terrorist attack to happen.

    17. I forgot to add politicians and media talk about not giving in to violence and protecting our values.

Which is meaningless. What are the West’s values today? Really ask a politician a writer or a celebrity who is informed. They will blather words. Meaningless words.

Thats why in long term these extremists will win without God’s intervention. And we deserve to be defeated.

I was there two years ago last summer. I liked some of the cops I talked to outside Downing Street. But the place isnt an English city anymore. Its like a a ghetto of another country in Asia and Africa sadly. I saw more foreigners than English. It was an eye opener.

The legacy of globalist secular liberalism. Death.

Why do you say its like another ghetto? How is not like an English city anymore?  I was thinking that when I herd his on the radio. I am wondering when in history has such a massive migration all of a sudden happened? What happens when the majority becomes the minority?

Is Islam a faith or an ideology that controls all aspects of life, therefore not compatible with the West? People should be able to come and go and live where they want, but respect the country and its laws that they are in.  Is this terror going to stop and how?

Eeekkk, I just heard a commentator (on a news panel here in the  U.S.) call this kind of attack “normal”!  Huh?

It sounds a lot like PJ O’Rourke’s The Piece of Ireland that Passeth all Understanding from “Give War a Chance,” when the British sergeant he was talking to said, regarding the deaths in Northern Ireland (then about three a day), “This is an acceptable level of violence.”

We can arm all the cops we want.  It’s not going to improve till we stop allowing the Barbarians inside the gates.

When I was at that very spot in London last summer there was a big impromptu floral memorial to Jo Cox, the MP who had been stabbed by a Brexit supporter. Or so the narrative went. Those barmy nationalists, you know: that’s the real threat.

    A few more possible steps:

Establish possible native birth, even if to immigrants with deep terrorist background.  “Home-grown” is the adjective to establish.

Establish sexual identity confusion which can relate the act to homophobia

Establish background of workplace or school discrimination or bullying so act can be seen as responsive to prevailing pathologies

Recite fun facts like actuarial data comparing deaths per annum from similar attacks to deaths from falls off furniture or deaths due to malfunctioning sex toys.

All of the items you cite, Paddy, refer to people trying to do or say something meaningful … only now we’re at the point where we’ve heard them so often, and we’ve seen how they really don’t have any effect … that these empty phrases instead boomerang on the speakers to highlight just how meaningless they are. Virtue signaling is now, ironically, proof that you don’t have any real virtue.

I was talking to a Prog about Omar Mateen.  He looked at me with a pitying stare and said, “You know he was gay, right?”

The more I think about that……uh, what?

He was gay so he killed a bunch of gay people because of self-hatred?

He was gay so anything he did could be explained in terms of the hatred “we” direct toward gays in general?

He was gay and that’s so much the core of his identity that his declared religious motive (he couldn’t have been clearer about it) HAS to b just a transparent, pitiable attempt to cover for the helpless rage he felt about his sexual preference?

No, I guess it’s more like :He was gay, so shut up! because how dare you presume to judge his mass-murdering actions when you can’t possibly imagine what it’s like to be gay?

Rereading this, I think you could almost substitute “Muslim” for ” gay” above…..I guess this is what they call “intersectionality”.

    Yes.

    What Islam Isn’t…Dr. Peter Hammond

Islam is not a religion nor is it a cult. It is a complete system.

Islam has religious, legal, political, economic and military components. The religious component is a beard for all the other components.

Islamization occurs when there are sufficient Muslims in a country to agitate for their so-called ‘religious rights.’

When politically correct and culturally diverse societies agree to ‘the reasonable’ Muslim demands for their ‘religious rights,’ they also get the other components under the table. Here’s how it works (percentages source CIA: The World Fact Book (2007)) …

Highly encourage that you pick up (and maybe even read) The Politically Incorrect Guide to Islam.

Islam expert Robert Spencer reveals Islam’s ongoing, unshakable quest for global conquest and why the West today faces the same threat as the Crusaders did–and what we can learn from their experience.

    Hardcover, 270 pages

Published July 13th 2005 by Regnery Publishing Inc (first published January 1st 2001)
