Ricochet News Flash: Hillary’s Chances of Being Indicted

hillary_orange1Rob, James and I just finished recording this week’s flagship Ricochet Podcast. One of our guests was the great Richard Epstein. Get a load of this exchange:

James Lileks: What’s the chance Hillary will be indicted?

Richard Epstein: Thirty percent.

Wow. One of the country’s leading legal scholars believes there’s a one-in-three chance that the Democratic Party’s presumed nominee for President will become the subject of a criminal indictment.

As I say, wow.

Douglas: First off, be wary of the “leaks”. They could be reliable, or a couple of P’d off field agents could translate into a fish story of “huge numbers of agents”. Second, just how are they going to mutiny?

The two are related. Agencies can make life miserable for an administration by leaking damaging information.

Good thought, Frank.  I can see a SA now: “So what if I leaked it.  What’re you going to do?  Indict me?

Barack Obama has less than one year left. He could care less. He’s untouchable to the public anyway. And he used the IRS against common citizens. You think he’d have any hesitation whatsoever against punishing FBI agents? Nope. There are ways to do that short of firing them. “Hey, snitch, guess what? You’re our new *Makework name* Task Force liaison in, hmmm, lessee, where are they sending y…. yeah, Ecuador. Pack your stuff, genius”.

And Hillary? If she wins, suddenly, she’s their boss, and the retaliations will begin.  The agents aren’t stupid.

Of course we will indict you, and lock you away in some third world hell hole.  Who do you think you are son?  A Clinton?
