Tim Groseclose on Fox and Friends

This weekend, Ricochet’s own Tim Groseclose appeared on Fox and Friends to discuss the controversy over the selection of Jane Fonda as one of UCLA’s commencement speakers and the ongoing scandal regarding the university’s attempt to get around California’s prohibitions on affirmative action in higher education (the subject of his most recent book, Cheating: An Insider’s Report on the Use of Race in Admissions at UCLA). Heads up, Tucker, but Jane Fonda was not invited to the film school commencement because she visited Hanoi 50 years ago.  I loathe her politics, even apart from the fact that she committed treason during the Vietnam War.  But she is a two-time Academy Award winning Best Actress, and she certainly must have learned a few things over her 54 year film career that would be of interest to aspiring film artists.  Let them hear what she has to say.  I do not like to see our side engaged in heckler’s veto censorship.  Let’s leave that to the lefties, shall we?

Heck, even if she never did anything herself, I would be interested in just hearing her talk for 30 minutes about her Dad and what she learned from him.
