This is how the (D)/Left is never held accountable and can violate the law with impunity.

The (D)/Left owns the Federal Agencies with the responsibility to investigate and prosecute illegalities committed at the highest levels of government.

Even with Trump at the head of these Federal Agencies, there were enough (D) career imbeds in the DOJ/FBI to simultaneously screw over Trump and ignore(or drive by) the Agencies own malfeasance used to do the screwing.   Then when the (D) got the  Presidency back again, the DOJ/FBI simply went back to telling the world that the DOJ/FBI will do what they want, and if you don’t like it you can go pound sand.

The only reason they continue get away with the malfeasance is the MSM/BigTech information sources are owned by the same (D)/Left which owns the DOJ/FBI, and those who consume their information from the MSM are more than willing to not hear alternative information detailing the malfeasance.

Maybe it should, but history tells us nothing will happen. Hope I am wrong but it is hard not to be cynical.

Richard Easton: Have the Democratic PTB decided that Biden is a liability? Was Trump correct that his call was perfect? It’s about to get very interesting in Babylon by the Potomac.

I forget what was leaked in January, but a thought then was that groundwork was being laid to ease the removal of Biden. Is this another piece of that puzzle?

If it wasn’t for the Ukrainian spy in our national security group, the call would have been seen as standard diplomacy. Then there’s this meme from when the war kicked off.

I don’t understand something in the OP. How does this letter say anything about Democratic Powers That Be? It’s signed by two Republicans.

Maybe.  Or, maybe there is an actual whistle-blower that is close enough to retirement to spill the beans one of the past investigations into Biden.   We should assume that nothing will come of this, since the PTB still have enough power to bury any crime.

I bet the FBI won’t be able to find such document. And if the whistleblower produces a copy, the FBI will claim its fake. MSM will parrot and amplify the denial. Then it will blow over as any mention will be rebuffed with “it’s been debunked. It’s old news. Move on”.

It would be fun to see the DeepState blame it all on a Russian information campaign …. will we ever find the bottom of the “Russians did it” well?

Yes, I’m wondering if the Ds have decided Biden has to go and they’re doing it indirectly by leaking stories about his corruption. The problem is that the VP is an idiot and they know this. Can they ease her out without eliciting cries of racism?

Yeah sending a letter to Garland and Wray is like sending a letter straight to the DNC itself. I am sure they will get right on it.

I don’t think Harris can be ousted unless Jim Clyburn is paid a lot of somethings.  He put Harris in place and he controls the first primary for the Democrats (they will ignore NH and IA).

It’s a natural outcome of the progressive project that started in the last part of the 19th century.  They wanted a government of elites that would be free from political interference.  They thought government by the smartest people would be best.

What they didn’t tell us is that the administrative/regulatory state they were designing would put its own self-interest first and foremost.

I don’t think their main problem is lack of intelligence.  Their main problem is that the regulatory systems they devise are not designed to provide the greatest benefit with the least cost to individuals or to society in general. It’s that they are designed to provide the greatest employment, income, and power for their own.  That sometimes looks like lack of intelligence, but it’s really a problem more of motivation and incentives.

That is a great summary for the institutional intestine of that small midwest city which produced the perpetual presidential candidate Mayor Pete.

If anything really happens it will only be because the Democrats have decided to get rid of Biden and will allow an impeachment to go ahead to force him to resign.  I suspect that if Desantis or similar gets GOP nomination, then they’ll dump Biden.  If Trump gets GOP nomination then they’ll back off Biden.  Trump is the Republican that Biden can most likely defeat in 2024 (by fair means or foul).

In the former case, Harris becomes President and Newsom, or the Democrats favored candidate will be appointed VP.

My thought is that she’ll be “encouraged” not to run in 2024, and her VP runs.  She gets some plum role with limited/insulated accountability.  Will her ego accept?  If enough 000s at the end of the check.
