‘Her Testicles’
A headline in the NY Post states, “Trans woman left sobbing in JFK airport after TSA agent hit her testicles.”
Stop! Just stop. I know some like to think that, by ignoring what we all know to be true, we can create a new reality. But I am sorry to say, in this house, we believe science is real.
It seems a person was going through a TSA checkpoint and was pulled aside for a pat down. TSA has male agents to search men and female agents to search women. The difference is based on biology, not identity. Anyway, this person wanted to be treated as a woman, so the female TSA agent did the pat down.
While checking the groin area the agent slapped down a little too hard on the man’s testicles. Now, there is a reason for this. This next point is very important. The female agent was not expecting to hit testicles because, and again this point cannot be overstated, women don’t have testicles. That is not an opinion or bias, it is an actual scientific fact. If the passenger had requested a male agent and explained why, I am sure this would have been a much different experience.
We live in a time when grown-ups are actively trying to sexualize children in public and most people remain silent and allow it. That is bad. But editors who will write copy like “her testicles” or “her penis” are just as much a part of the problem. If I tricked a woman at the TSA to put her hand on my penis, I am pretty sure she is the one everyone would look at as the victim. This case is no different.
Stop pretending that what your eyes and ears are telling you is wrong. Stop denying that biology is real. Know that, no matter how hard you try to beat common sense to death, it will come back at you. People have problems, all of us do, but denying those problems in oder to create a false reality will not help anyone. Don’t play along.

How about “It” or “That” after the surgery?
It would be 3rd person plural. You´d be talking about a football team.
Cultural anxiety is so often expressed in ways that involve policing women’s bodies. Now trans women’s bodies too, I guess. Didn’t see that coming.
To hell with her testicles, I want to hear about his ovaries!
I have become an embarrassed monoglot. A few years ago, I was talking to an Italian who was struggling to comprehend English and I tried my old German and he found it utterly incomprehensible. We stuck with English.
I still think that all CEOs, Generals, police chiefs and other alpha males should be male — even in a dress.
Hm, I’m pretty sure that if they’re in a dress, they’re not an alpha male.

I’ve seen videos of guys in dressed beating the crap out of people. Maybe they’re alphas, maybe not.
Isn’t it pretty well established that bullies aren’t actually alphas?

Doctors Report Startling Rise In Testicular Injuries Among Woman Athletes
“This new wave of testicular injuries to female athletes has really come out of nowhere,” said Dr. Ryan Kitchen of Boston College’s Institute of Sports Medicine. “Years ago, there were absolutely no reported testicular injuries that occurred during women’s sporting events. If only we could determine what led to this sudden rise. Such a puzzle!”
To me, someone who is so mentally ill they fully transition via operation deserves to be treated with the expected dignity a human deserves. Just sayin’ . . .

I see what you did there. And I like it.
10cc is not much liquid, but they had some nice tunes:
JK Rowling had a great line about such a rape that occurred. Something to the effect, “Madam, you were raped by the woman with the penis.”
When I read this story, I smiled and said to myself “good”. Then I wondered if it really happened as the mentally-ill “victim” claimed.
Not even then
There’s only one person I’ve ever been willing to consider to have changed: Walter/Wendy Carlos the brilliant synthesizer pioneer (“Switched on Bach” etc.). First, he changed to she in the late 1960s – early 1970s, when it was a lot harder in every respect. Second, he/she was a musician, not an activist. Third, her post-transition behavior was not otherwise abnormal and she did seem to just want a quiet life. Fourth, he was fully an adult well before becoming she.
But she still had XY Chromosones.
