Biden Did You Know?

The Babylon Bee mirrors the rhetorical device used in “Mary Did You Know?” to ask, Biden Did You Know? Much like in the original song, the answer is yes. Of course Biden* knew he was destroying America. That is the goal. Trump was working to make America great again and on the first day Biden* revoked anything of Trump’s that he could. Biden’s handlers are probably the same as Obama’s, who had the goal of fundamentally transforming America into a third-world banana republic. Then Biden* hired a bunch of freaks and perverts just to rub our noses in it and show that he can do whatever he wants. We are post Constitutional.

Last year Matt Whitman sat down with a friend to go through the lyrics of “Mary Did You Know?” and think through if she really could have known those things were going to happen.

    You got it!  Sad how few would agree – or say that’s a bad thing.

    Saw that yesterday, very funny. Especially when he talks about “your baby boy” because Biden and Mary have very different children.

    I picked up on that phrasing from a recent article by Glenn Ellmers

    However much it can be stated that Obama worked hard to transform America into a third rate banana republic,  I doubt he would have been successful if the investment crowd/money managers and the media had not taken such a shine to him.

    May I point out that the investment crowd/money managers are just as often Republican as Democrat Party members?

    It was only the Ron Paul followers inside the Republican party that opposed Tim Geithner running the USA and the Western world into the toilet, to the advantage of the top financial firms in the world.

    People here often do quite a lot of teeth gritting to show the disdain they hold for the Republican leaders who did not undo ObamaCare all the times that they would have had a chance.

    But the salient fact of the ObamaCare operation is that it was written in the basement of the WH, all 2,000 + pages of it, by Rahm Emmanuel and Liz Fowler. It is also quite revelatory that the stock market posted record earnings for all the big insurers who are involved with our health, within a day of the ACA passing and being signed into law.

    As always follow the money.

    As always, ask yourself: qui bono?

    You’re welcome. Tried to provide a little more than just linking to a Babylon Bee video.

    Babylon Bee not only created a very funny video but they have also captured something that I have been thinking about with concern.

    There is no other President who I truly grieve for his soul.  He has abdicated the non-negotiable morals of his faith tradition in order to grasp power.  While many are merely deceived, Biden cannot not know what he is doing is wrong.  He cannot not know that he is laying aside the moral truth in which he had been instructed for a temporary season of prestige.   I was stunned when I heard him say (before the last election) that we would turn the country pro choice “God willing” (!!???!!!)

    The end of the parody where Biden will answer to “the Great I Am” (reference to the revelation of God in the burning bush) not only fits the humor of the piece but carries a weight of truth.

    I am late commenting on this post because I was not sure if I could stand hearing the tune used to ask awesome questions regarding the Incarnation  being twisted into a parody attacking the present darkness of politics.

    I listened to the second video first and came away somewhat assured that the first was not going to be just a cheap shot. As usual, the Bee did not disappoint, but the obvious answer to the questions was a very sad yes.

    A Psalm came to mind, but I could not remember. I did a search for “their end” in Biblegateway.com and came up with this:

    Psalm 73:16-19

    But when I thought how to understand this,
        it seemed to me a wearisome task,
    17 until I went into the sanctuary of God;
        then I discerned their end.

    18 Truly you set them in slippery places;
        you make them fall to ruin.
    19 How they are destroyed in a moment,
        swept away utterly by terrors!

    One of my favorite Psalms. This is a helpful passage to keep in mind when reading Job. Job rightly understood the prosperity of the wicked, but until the end of the book, he forgets the truth of Psalm 73. Their feet are in slippery places indeed.
