Jan. 6 Mysteries

1. Why hasn’t the FBI caught the person who planted the pipe bombs on 1/5? They captured on video the person talking on a cell phone. It would be child’s play to get the number. It’s almost as if they don’t want to catch this person. As Holmes would say, the dog not barking tells you the most salient point. The most likely explanation is that this was an FBI person planting evidence in preparation for the 1/6 insurrection fable.

2. Who is Ray Epps and why hasn’t he been arrested? The 1/6 House witch-hunt talked with him but the transcript hasn’t been released. He was shouting on 1/5 that they should storm the Capitol and the crowd called him out as a Fed.

3. Steve D’Antuono, the FBI man who oversaw the Whitmer kidnapping fable, was promoted in October 2020 to lead the DC field office. How many people did he have on the ground near the Capitol on 1/6 and what was their role in the 1/6 events?

When you figure those things out, I have some questions about the Vegas shooter and Jeffery Epstein ;)

80 ‘Suspicious Actors’ and ‘Material Witnesses’ Under Scrutiny by Jan. 6 Defense Attorneys

Court filing suggests entrapment operation run against the Oath Keepers by highly coordinated groupBy Joseph M. HannemanMay 6, 2022 Updated: May 7, 2022biggersmallerPrint 0:0010:17

Defense attorneys are seeking to identify and investigate 80 suspicious actors and material witnesses, some of whom allegedly ran an entrapment operation against the Oath Keepers on January 6, 2021, and committed crimes including the removal of security fencing, breaching police lines, attacking officers, and inciting crowds to storm into the Capitol.

In a motion (pdf) and supplement (pdf) filed after 11 p.m. on May 5 in federal court in Washington, attorney Brad Geyer listed 80 people, some of whom he said could be government agents or provocateurs. The people are seen on video operating in a coordinated fashion across the Capitol grounds on January 6, the attorney alleged.

Geyer’s suggestion of an entrapment scheme will resonate with dozens of January 6 defense attorneys, coming shortly after two men were acquitted of an alleged plot to kidnap Michigan Gov. Gretchen Whitmer (D). There was a hung jury on charges against two other defendants. The jury in that case was allowed to consider FBI entrapment as a defense.

Richard Easton: Why hasn’t the FBI caught the person who planted the pipe bombs on 1/5…

At some point the questions start to answer themselves

    The props:

Kamala Harris was inside DNC headquarters on Jan. 6 when pipe bomb was found outside

FBI Still Hasn't Found DNC, RNC Pipe Bomb-Maker Months After Jan. 6 Capitol Riot : NPR

The mystery man making sure he is caught on as many area camera (while talking on his phone) as possible:

And, lucky for them, the reliably incurious press just plays along with the charade.

No, the over-arching question must be:

Where are the Defense Lawyers for ALL the people rotting in the DC jail?  This is the most egregious miscarriage of justice in the history of our country.  Lawsuits should be filed in a flurry against all the DC authorities, and they should not get any sleep at night with process-servers for every single “rioter” still in jail.

There were cops beating people to death in the tunnel. And video of it. Where is the accountability for them?

    1. At the time, I thought the bombs would have been the bigger story. But that went away real quick. One would think bombs are more important than texts.
    2. The guy is on camera telling people to break into the Capitol. He gets to walk free but people who walked thru an already opened door, stayed within the velvet ropes, and took selfies, end up in jail.  I don’t know if Epps was working for the government or not (government said “No” and that’s enough for the NYT “journalists”) but it is not wrong to want to know more about the double standard here.
    3. The Whitmer story should have gotten people fired, but in the government you get promoted instead.

Congress put together the January 6 Committee to “get Trump.” They clearly have no interest in any other aspect of what happened that day. If we are to believe that, as some have said, this was one of the worst days in American history, then wouldn’t we want a full investigation? Even into things that weren’t Trump’s fault?

We need something like the 1975 Senate Church Commission.  The CIA and FBI complained that those investigations hurt legitimate operations but the scope of the illegitimate activities needed correction.

In 1975, the left took full advantage of Watergate and the temporary collapse of their domestic political adversaries to cleanse intel and law enforcement agencies of anyone they deemed deserving of removal or sanction.  And they did it with a weakened Republican administration (Jerry Ford).  If the predicted landslide actually happens this year, there would be no excuse for the GOP not to ream out the FBI immediately.

Lots of people need to be fired.  The clownshow that has infiltrated (taken over?) the Proud Boys and other less than threatening organizations needs to be exposed so that careers end.  DOJ attorneys who knowingly assist in this crap need to be sanctioned in ways that diminish the chances of subsequent employment in blue-chip law firms.

Harder to do but also necessary is to expose the links by which media types advance or protect the interests of these miscreants.  It is also necessary to do this as part of the pushback when the MSM rallies to defend the indefensible at these agencies.

Yeah, the Church Commission has been oddly popping into my mind a lot.  When I see the words “January 6 Committee” I want to read Jan 6 Church Commission.  Funny that.

To remind people that it needed doing once before, and that cleaning out federal-level police corruption isn’t something new.  We’re following an honorable path, and Democrats should, too.

To paraphrase sort of saintly Queen Hillary – This appears to be a massive LEFT WING conspiracy aimed at overthrowing our Constitutional government.

Not to dismiss Richard’s questions about the 1-6 pipe bomber, Ray Epps and Steve D’Antonio, but the prosecution  of the  minor ( mostly minor and unsupported misdemeanors) crimes at the Capitol on January 6th has violated some of our most sacred inalienable rights – the Right to Due Process and the Right to Speedy Trial.

A great many people have been held without bail for over a year on misdemeanor charges that really have very spurious evidence to prosecute with , and over 14,000 hours of video tape evidence has been with-held from the various defense teams.

The actions of the Justice Department and the FBI are a million times  more serious than the so-called”Insurrection ” of January 6th which was really much to do about nothing, particularly when you know there was at least 80 suspicious characters apparently aligned with the FBI were mingling about the crowd with the intent to cause trouble.  The actions of the DOJ,FBI and Capitol police in this matter are simply incredibly outrageous and should be throughly prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.
