Is Hunter Biden Advising Policy Now?

The Biden Administration has launched a $30 million program to distribute crack pipes. (Don’t look at me, I didn’t vote for that guy.)

The $30 million grant program, which closed applications Monday and will begin in May, will provide funds to nonprofits and local governments to help make drug use safer for addicts. Included in the grant, which is overseen by the Department of Health and Human Services, are funds for “smoking kits/supplies.” A spokesman for the agency told the Washington Free Beacon that these kits will provide pipes for users to smoke crack cocaine, crystal methamphetamine, and “any illicit substance.”

This is being done under the progressive philosophy of “harm reduction.” “Harm reduction” meaning tax dollars paid by working citizens who have to pass drug tests (and be vaxxed!) in order to keep their jobs are spent by bureaucrats to keep junkies comfortable.

Wow. What does thirty million dollar’s worth of crack pipes even look like?!

How are they buying them? Are they bypassing normal federal bidding rules?

Surely James Biden will be involved and he adds some overhead.  It is probably about a 1000 pipes made in a Chinese slave shop.

Yea, my jaw dropped when I first saw this. I just don’t know how crazy=stupid this administration can be. Every day they seem to take it up one notch further. Are the American people really OK with this?

I’m not surprised.  Some cities have been distributing needles to addicts under the guise of “clean” needles – as if the addicts can’t use them more than once or give them to someone else . . .

But at least you can understand why clean needles are important. But a crack pipe doesn’t get injected into you. What is the benefit of a government issued pipe?

Probably a couple hundred after all the grifters in the social services/non-profit industry take their “cut” for program and operating expenses.

Maybe even attempting to understand the benefit of any government appeasement and assistance to human degradation is not worth anyone’s time. There is no understanding of it.

NYC is running commercials on my local TV encouraging drug users to get a free fentanyl testing kit to test their drugs.   “…don’t be ashamed you are using, be empowered…”

Seems like another in a long list of efforts to normalize dysfunction.

We should deal with homelessness and addiction the way we once dealt with tuberculosis.  We confine them to sanitoriums and wean them off their addictions, if necessary, with methadone.  Give them three strikes.  After the third stay, they are committed with little hope of ever being released.

Second, we should declare war on the drug cartels.  Arrests for trafficking across our borders should carry a federal death sentence.

As I recall, Seattle (surprise!) started this some years ago.

Sanitoriums were conspicuously absent starting with the HIV epidemic.

On free crack pipes, it reminds me of something my grandmother once said.  She was telling about a neighbor down the street whose son was an addict and making her life miserable, including breaking into her house and raging about and stealing things.  My grandmother said, “If my son were an addict, I’d kill him.  Better me than the drugs.”  And from the look in her eyes, I think she meant it for real.

LOL, I just said similar on Susan’s post on Biden’s drug policies.  Yeah, Biden is taking advice from his son Hunter.

I live in NYC but I have not seen that.  I don’t dispute it.  It’s exactly what the radicals would do.

This is how they commemorate Black History Month.

Sounds to me like a pretty effective scheme for the “white supremacy” to increase drug addiction among blacks in order to keep them segregated from mainstream society so they can be properly oppressed. I remember accusations from a couple of decades back that whites encouraged blacks to use addictive drugs as part of the large plan to keep blacks down. White “liberals” are once again working to keep black people down, this time by encouraging their use of addictive drugs.

In broad brush (and Hunter Biden notwithstanding), I understand that crack cocaine is largely a drug for the black inner city, powder cocaine is the drug form for wealthy white people, and methamphetamines are largely a drug for the poor rural whites.

Yeah, they are saying that this program is about “racial equity.” Pretty sure “drug addict” is not a race.
