Tell Me the FBI Was Involved in the Events of January 6…

… without telling me the FBI Was Involved in the Events of January 6. From Tuesday’s hearing in the U.S. Senate:

  • Senator Ted Cruz: “Did any FBI agents or confidential informants actively participate in the events of January 6th? Yes or no?”
  • FBI’s Jill Sanborn: “I can’t answer that.”

Later

Senator Cruz: (Going Over The Footage Of Ray Epps On January 5th and 6th): “Ms. Sanborn, was Ray Epps a Fed?”

Jill Sanborn: “Sir, I cannot answer that question.”

The FBI is a fundamentally deceptive and worthless organization. It is not worthy of trust or respect. The GOP message should be a full restructuring and cleaning out of the entire organization.

I hate all unconstitutional agencies, but what does the FBI do that another agency doesn’t? It was created to go after gangsters during prohibition. Who also does that? The ATF.

    Terrorism? Homeland Security

    Drug busts? ATF again

    Gangs? ATF again some more.

Information database? CIA. The FBI was designed to do this for police, but anyone here involved in local law enforcement will tell you the last thing they want is “help” from the feds.

    Human trafficking? ICE

Cyber-security? The FBI is great at this. And by great, I mean not giving a damn about your cyber-security but using anything and everything against you.

    Abolish the entire redundant mess.

I tried to do that. But I failed. Now what?

But they needed that FBI cone.

Bust Aunt Becky for bribing a college admissions official.

Cruz leans over and whispers to an aide, who leaves and returns minutes later.  He hands a box to Cruz.

Cruz:  Maybe these thumbscrews will help you answer the question.

    Sanborn:  Aaaaiiieeee!

The Select Committee says he’s not a fed. Oh, that’s a laugh.

The Select Committee is a fraudulent, partisan body comprised of our domestic enemies.

Since the group is [not] a properly constituted committee, we should avoid the use of “Select Committee”.  They are just a group of Reps with a gavel and a camera.  They don’t  have subpoena power or any gravitas.

What we have seen in the criminal charges lodged against the Jan 6 protesters and the subsequent coverup and tactics by Pelosi, Democrats, and federal law enforcement including prosecutors shows us why the George Mason led Virginians insisted on adoption of the Bill of Rights.

    The 6th Amendment:

In all criminal prosecutions, the accused shall enjoy the right to a speedy and public trial, by an impartial jury of the State and district wherein the crime shall have been committed, which district shall have been previously ascertained by law, and to be informed of the nature and cause of the accusation; to be confronted with the witnesses against him; to have compulsory process for obtaining witnesses in his favor, and to have the Assistance of Counsel for his defence.

A trial, I would think (IANAL), would reveal what the FBI representatives would not in their testimony before the Senate. I also think the rights of all those detained have been abridged. The object , of course, is to get guilty plea agreements, so no trial where these facts might be revealed. This also explains the abusive treatment of those incarcerated pre-trial without bail.

Constitutional rights violated all over the place.

Not to mention almost all of those held are likely not a threat to anyone.

I suppose if Republicans can gain control of the Senate in November they could try in the budget process to get these answers from the DoJ, but they would have to persuade the RINO’s to support that effort.

Already done. I’ve been prematurely disappointed by this since 2007.

I’ve said it once, I’ll say it again, the FBI doesn’t solve crimes – they manage them.
