The Waukesha Murderer Is a Product of the Left’s Grievance Industry

Change my mind.

Maybe I’m foolish for getting out in front of “the facts” like this, but I’d put real cash money on a bet that the Wisconsin domestic terrorist believes he’s a victim of “white supremacy” and “institutional racism.” Dennis Prager has long said the victim mentality allows people to justify all kinds of evil.

Sure this guy knocked around some women and sexually assaulted them, but, hey! It’s not his fault America hates him and is holding him down. He’s just paying it forward. Even if he isn’t self-aware enough to know he’s motivated by believing the grievance narrative about blacks, the very fact of his life of crime points to a sense of despair and lack of self-mastery that the victim mentality engenders.

If Kyle Rittenhouse is a vigilante because he holds conservative values (like loving one’s neighbors by protecting them and their property — even if they’re black), then the Left owns this guy and one of the most evil acts by a domestic terrorist in our time. Make them own him.

The Waukesha murderer (I refuse to use his name) is a product of BLM, the 1619 Project, and all the other racist initiatives promulgated by the Left’s grievance industry. Hang him around their necks.

It is highly unlikely that his first crime was at age 17. Juvenile offenders do not have their crimes listed after they reach their majority.

Good point. But, it doesn’t seem he was very good at not getting caught. He just received light treatment for his crimes.

Maybe in part because his juvenile record was no longer being considered?

Juvenile records are sealed once the person reaches his majority. It is a little ridiculous. The only difference is when a criminal is charged as an adult because of the seriousness of the crime. Then it is up to the prosecutor. We saw the absurdity of not considering criminal records in the Rittenhouse trial. The three perps he shot were all convicted felons, and it should have been obvious that their involvement in the riot had nothing to do with concern about “equity.” They were rioters simply giving vent to their sociopathic love of anarchy. However, the jury couldn’t be informed of their history.

Oh, he had plenty of record beyond his juvenile years. He’s 39?

We now need a Waukesha Commission modeled after the January 6th Commission.

Those on the 6th Commission claimed Trump incited the so-called “riot” at the Capital, but it is clear that Biden, Kamala, and all the rest of the Woke Democrats incited, justified and encouraged the horrific Waukesha murders.

This act of violence will be duplicated over and over again until we take a stand for the rule of law and our Constitutional rights, and reject this coddling of violence.

Michael Knowles talked Plato and others about how not punishing criminals is not compassionate. This guy’s track record is the perfect example.

You mean, spare the rod, spoil the child?

More like the classic rabbinic commentary from Midrash Kohelet (commentaries on Ecclesiastes), “Those who are merciful to the cruel will end by being cruel to the merciful.”

I am wondering—given Mr. Brooks’ apparent enthusiasm for Malcolm X and anti-Semitism—whether it might turn out that he is a Muslim and this was Jihad? Driving a vehicle through a public Christmas celebration is one of their M.O.s?

    Or is that really tin-foil-hatty?

That was actually my first thought when I heard of the incident. Nothing however has come out to indicate any Islamic connection. As far as I can tell he’s a career criminal with a screw loose.

If you begin with someone who can be described most charitably as a badly damaged man, with what the evidence shows is a marked propensity for violence and not much in the way of impulse control…and the authorities refuse to give him the feedback he needs in order to change (if, indeed,  change is possible) then I agree it might not matter a whole lot what thoughts and ideas he’s got in his head.

Or…it might? Let’s say, for the sake of argument, that having been released on a low bail Friday, Mr. Brooks goes to whatever home he’s got, to recover from the stress of his experience. To the extent that he has a political orientation, his is obviously left and not right. However incoherently, he is a black nationalist and BLM supporter.

So he learns that Rittenhouse has been acquitted. To this, he reacts as everyone on his end of the political spectrum does.

Rep. AOC: “What are we are witnessing is a system functioning as designed and protecting those it was designed for…” Rep.Ayanna Presley: “Racism and white supremacy remain the bedrock of our legal system.” Rep. Cori Bush: “The judge. The Jury. The defendant. It’s white supremacy in action. The system isn’t built to hold white supremacists accountable. It’s why black and brown folks are brutalized and put in cages while white supremacist murderers walk free.

Rep. Rashida Tlaib:” This painful verdict sends a horrifying message that bringing violence to a protest for racial justice is acceptable. It’s incitement, not justice.” Democratic Congressional Caucus leader Sean Patrick Maloney: “It’s disgusting and disturbing that someone was able to carry a loaded assault rifle into a protest against the unjust killing of Jacob Blake, an unarmed Black man…” [Monty Python note: Jacob Blake is not dead]

Mayor Bill diBlasio of New York: “The verdict is disgusting and it sends a horrible message to this country. Where is the justice in this? We can’t let this go.”  Former Governor Andrew Cuomo: “Today’s verdict is a stain on the soul of America and sends a dangerous message about who and what values our justice system was designed to protect.” Governor Evers of Wisconsin (same guy who didn’t send the guard to defend Kenosha): “No verdict will be able to bring back the lives of Anthony Huber and Joseph Rosenbaum or heal Gaige Grosskreutz’s * injuries, just as no verdict can heal the wounds or trauma experienced by Jacob Blake and his family.”

This is the same, relentless drumbeat that has been sounding for years now, and Mr. Brooks is responsive to it.  This doesn’t mean that Mr. Brooks decided, at that point, to go kill people. Only that the narrative had added more weight to one side of his already unbalanced mind.  Then he goes to see his (ex?) girlfriend. Predictably, they get into a brouhaha, because that’s just how he rolls. By the time the police are called, he’s already back in his car and driving away…in what frame of mind?   Resentful, self-pitying, adrenalized, maybe with some chemical enhancement he’s enraged…fugginhoethinkimnoaccountbitchfugginkillhernastyass….and in the back of what passes for his mind, he’s got this narrative churning, one that would seem to legitimate his petty grievances and make them meaningful. Showdemracistmoyafuggaswhitekillaznojusticenopeas…

Nor was he unarmed. He had a knife he refused to put down.

We must go to great lengths to rock solidly establish a Muslim connection while Rittenhouse and practically all of us here can be branded White Supremacist 200 times a day on no evidence at all.

Like the proverbial ostrich, I don’t read the left’s newspapers anymore. These quotes you’ve cited are truly horrifying.

These people are trying to start a war. If the Republicans do not call them on this, there will be a second civil war.

It’s all over the church, too.

That second video, post-trial, is the worst, because these people have no excuse for getting facts wrong. And yet they do.

Now, . . . why would I expect these people to tell the truth of the gospel if they can’t even tell the truth about Kyle Rittenhouse?

I stopped at 0:55 and 0:54 for these two.  I just can’t bring myself to watch them.

I guarantee you, these people will remain absolutely silent about the massacre in Waukesha by a known anti-white racist with a long criminal record.
