We the People Wine Company: Finally, an American Company Unabashedly Standing for American Values

Everyone who knows us knows I do – unabashedly!- love my wines, so it is indescribably exciting to tell about a wine company’s TV ad which is one of the most pro-America, pro-American, pro-American exceptionalism ads I have seen in a very long time. Here’s the ad— if you don’t feel at least just a little like jumping up, standing at attention, and saluting, perhaps you had better consider getting yourself to the ER and having your vitals checked!

I will have ordered a case before the day is out!

Cheers!

God Bless America!

Actually visited a few in that cool area between Austin and Frederickburg after checking out the LBJ Ranch.

Yes, that area has been developing for vineyards the past ten years.  I never considered it as a “cool” area, but I guess it could be.  Very yuppy-ish.

Want to back since we did not have time in Fredericksburg to visit the Nimitz museum.  Not too yuppy.

    I went to believe.

Need more info on the company.

The world has made me a cynic.

    😭

Their area code puts them in Washington, DC. I suspect they aren’t growing many grapes. I am not going to buy it. It’s just a cynical ploy to sell wine. I wouldn’t be surprised if the same business probably has a Black Lives Matter wine too.

C’mon Skyler. Saw it’s California Cabernet. One of the few good things left here. Just trying to find out if located in the Golden State. Do not need another wine club. Will make an exception for this one. And if wine tastings here will be on the lookout for BLM. Doubt they drink much of the stuff though.

Sure, that’s how Texas vineyards work too. If they want it to taste like wine, they grow some grapes here, mostly for show, and then buy all their wine from California. Texas wine actually made from Texas grapes is barely drinkable.

It’s actually clever, if true, to take advantage of polarized markets to have a Reagan wine and a Mondale (or whoever) wine. They are just a company that prints labels, is my bet. I’ll pass.

True no doubt. Actually visited a few in that cool area between Austin and Frederickburg after checking out the LBJ Ranch. Good stuff. And the employees all admitted they got their grapes from Napa or Sonoma County.

Depends on the vineyard, vitner, and year.   California rarely has bad years in terms of growing.  Texas has terrible years and great years in terms of growing that leads to wildly different results.  Admittedly I haven’t been shopping for Texas wines in 10 years+ so, a lot could have changed.

Nor have I.  I would certainly hope they’ve gotten better because they couldn’t have gotten much worse.

I go as often as I can.  That’s a great museum.
