The trio is back in action this week, and after a few weeks off, Rob is in full force! We’ve got Senator Tom Cotton to keep our attention (R- AR) where it should be: on Afghanistan. He then takes us through what was yesterday’s Wuhan lab conspiracy theory but which has since become today’s news. Cotton also breaks some news about Nancy Pelosi’s future ambitions – you don’t want to miss this!
Our hosts scrap a bit about the California recall but enjoy nothing but unity on Norm Macdonald and comedy, even in our politicized and polarized society™.
Music from this week’s podcast: Make ‘Em Laugh by Donald O’Connor (from the Singing in the Rain soundtrack.)

I recommend you order this from Amazon ASAP.
Ask yourself: WHY did Amazon want to build a warehouse/distribution center in NYC?
Oh, of course! Because NOBODY there orders from Amazon!
It’s admittedly a low bar, but I’d take him over Newsom any day. It’s not close.
One reason: so they could make timely deliveries (what they built their business on) to the largest market in the country. And make gobs of money in the process.
Yes, to make deliveries.
In.
New.
York.
City.
(and nearby)
Including to AOC and her friends and fellow travelers.
Those people claim to “hate” the oppressiveness but they don’t care if it’s not in their sight. And meanwhile NYC lost a number of jobs.
We’ll have to agree to disagree. Most governors failed this test. Brown would, too, 100%. And that’s really the only thing that matters right now. CA will further diverge into very rich and very poor as a result of this lockdown garbage. Winter is coming.
Yeti – I think that was kind of KEs point
I admit I have no idea what point he was making. As usual.
And yet you responded as if you did know. As usual.
Your claim that New Yorkers – or even just the New York “elite” – “hate” Amazon is disproven by your own statement: “so they could make timely deliveries to the largest market in the country. And make gobs of money in the process.”
It’s pretty typical for the left, they claim to love employees, but they hate employERS. And yet they freely give “gobs of money” to people like Bezos whom they accuse of underpaying their workers, etc.
While claiming to be “protecting” New York(ers) from the predations of Amazon.
Their self-satisfaction would be damaged by having an Amazon facility IN New York City, as it would be if they were driving their prestigious electric cars while the child, prison, and slave labor that mines the materials that go into the cars/batteries were laboring in the elites’ own yards.
No, that is not what I said. I said that some local Democratic politicians (AOC and some NYC city council members) chased Amazon out of opening their corporate HQ there because they thought (incorrectly — we agree on this) that Amazon exploited their workers (Amazon has been paying $15/hour starting wages with full benefits for several years now). I was not referring to rank and file New Yorkers or even rich, electric car driving New Yorkers — if there is even such a thing.
By the way, there already are Amazon Distribution Centers in NYC (in Brooklyn and Staten Island) and several more just outside of the city in northern New Jersey. Kind of blows your theory out the water. Sorry!
I presume that like just about everyone else in the country, regular, non-insane, NYer’s who are not in elected office and don’t engage in political virtue signaling in order to get into the NY Times and on MSNBC love the convenience, giant selection, ease, and quick delivery of Amazon, which is (in part) made possible by having at least two huge distribution center in NYC and is also part of the reason Jeff Bezos is so freaking rich.
So by your own admission 6 million Trump voters couldn’t be bothered to vote out Gavin Newsome. Why aren’t THEY the RINOs? If they are only available to Trump and no other Republican, aren’t they not the very definition of a Republican In Name Only?
