Sebastien Lai is the son of Jimmy Lai, the great Hong Kong entrepreneur and publisher who is now a political prisoner: a symbol of the general struggle of Hong Kong against the tyranny that has engulfed it. Sebastien is campaigning around the world in his father’s behalf. He has many interesting things to say: about his dad, about Hong Kong, even about some deep things in life.

Thank you for this inspiring interview. I keep hoping that the Vatican and Pope Francis will spend more time speaking out about the Catholics in the PRC, including Jimmy Lai and Cardinal Zen, instead of worrying about ‘rigid’ Catholics who might like the Tridentine rite. Not holding my breath on that but praying for Mr. Lai, his family, the other prisoners in HK, and even the guards.
