In this episode of the Power Line Show, Steve Hayward converses with John Yoo about the early days of the Trump Administration, the immigration order, the Gorsuch nomination, and especially how the time is ripe for the obvious Broadway sequel to “Hamilton,” namely, a hip-hop ode to that great advocate of limiting executive power—James Madison. It was basically impossible to hear John Yoo.
Agree with Guruforhire, John Yoo’s audio at times was very faint. So sad, since I enjoy Yoo’s take on issues of the day.
Agreed as well. I have the volume both on the app and the computer turned up to their highest levels. I am sitting right in front of my computer, and I still cannot hear John Yoo.
Sorry about that — tried to make it as loud as we could without distorting it. Steve recorded this himself and we will admonish him properly.
I’m able to hear John Yoo by turning the volume up to 11, putting my ear right by the speaker, and otherwise being silent.
I’m relieved to find it wasn’t just me. I thought I might be going deaf.
I could just barely hear Steve with the volume on my laptop all the way up, and couldn’t hear John at all. @blueyeti, could you have Steve work on that too? Thanks!
I appreciate Steve Hayward carrying on with Power Line podcasts. I think he has very good podcast ideas. So this is in no way meant to diminish his efforts, but when are the other guys going to join back in? I think three participants is a good number for this podcast, one of my favorites on the site.
