The Biden administration is pushing forward its legislative agenda with the Build Back Better program, and Democrats have a number of tax proposals to pay for it. Looking to the largest corporations and the wealthiest Americans, congressional Democrats are constrained by President Biden’s pledge not to raise taxes on Americans earning less than $400,000 a year. Kyle is a senior fellow here at the American Enterprise Institute, where he studies federal tax policy.
