Loved this one. That picture is priceless. I also side with Mr. French and although I do like Mr. Ahmari, it is a bit much to hear him want to burn it all down when I remember he said he voted for Hillary.
This is fast becoming my favorite podcast. Love these guys.
So many smart, insightful thinkers at Ricochet and National Review at the moment … which means there’s a lot to read and listen to … and Stephen, in particular, has a rare gift (shared by Noah Rothman and Abe Greenwald) for perceiving patterns and behavioral trends among the ”woke” cognoscenti.
This show is a true — dare I say invaluable? — I dare: invaluable — resource.
I’ll never see or hear the words “Hot sauce!” without remembering how Stephen says it now.

E Warren is, thanks be to G-d, toast as president but unfortunately the people of Massachusetts will keep her as a Senator until she drops dead as with Senator (I only killed one woman) Kennedy.
Well, I almost voted libertarian in 2016, but ended up just voting for Trump anyways. If I didn’t live in a purple state, I would have voted libertarian as a protest. That said, I will wholeheartedly vote for Trump in 2020.
I intended to vote for the two governors myself, last time, but didn’t get to the polls. I expect to be voting for Trump next time, though.
Let’s have a little sympathy for Pocahontas. It’s like when Hillary Clinton grew up believing she was named after Edmund Hillary, when he was actually an obscure New Zealand beekeeper when she was born.
Hillary does have a storied history – like when she arrived in Bosnia under gun fire…
Not a good synopsis to say that people don’t like French because he’s nice to people. I don’t care for him because he’s pretty shallow, says the same things over and over, and is pretty proud of his own accomplishments and moral rectitude and lets people know about it. And somehow, despite being an evangelical, he at one time supported same-sex marriage.
And what French will never admit is that Kavanaugh would have never been pushed through if Trump were not president. Basically any other Republican would have withdrawn the nomination.
I used to think that and then I was reminded that HW Bush stood by Clarence Thomas. I think that even Jeb would have stood by Kavanaugh.
But would Jeb have even nominated Kavanaugh in the first place?
Curt Schilling as president is a possibility?
Nobody told me.
I just saw that Curt Schilling is #65 in career Wins Above Replacement, the highest for a player not in the Hall of Fame caught into a steroids, gambling, or similar scandal.
That’s higher than Joe DiMaggio #68, Brooks Robinson #67, Johnny Bench #77, Reggie Jackson #80, Frank Thomas #81, etc.
Kavanaugh is exactly the kind of judge Jeb would have nominated.
Unless, in a show of bipartisanship, he nominated Merrick Garland instead. And the Court would be 5-4 liberals now.
Moderate/liberal Republicans are very fond of “reaching out in a spirit of bipartisanship” like that.
