None of three “gentlemen” know jack about a certain crooner from Spokane. When they read up on Giddens, call me.
I feel blessed for not following the Harvey Weinstein saga at all. No idea what they were taking about and no need to find out.
I’m tempted to call Pod’s bluff and send him some Valentine’s day underwear.
Rob, if you’re out there: the Reich-in-Fishburne’s-lap crack was the funniest in glop history. Congrats and thx :)
I’m not old enough to vouch for this personally, but I’m told that as late as the 1960s it was common for High School [single sex] gym classes to have the kids swim naked.
So, Rob did a Cialis commercial? Side-by-side bathtubs on a hillside? Who would have guessed?
PJ Soles had a fairly long acting career, it just may not seem like it at times because I don’t think she was ever a/the top star.
Oh, and the extended cut of Stripes has more nudity, including PJ Soles nudity.
Oh, and re: MASH, Burns was a barely-competent surgeon. Unlike Winchester.
Any discussion of Jimmy Smits that doesn’t include L.A. Law isn’t worth having.
Yes, there were more variety shows in the past, but watching them on youtube etc you might get the idea that they were all on at the same time, which they weren’t.
This was a very funny podcast.
Also, M*A*S*H was awesome, Alan Alda’s and Mike Farrell’s sanctimony notwithstanding.
The nearly seasons were good. The later seasons were virtually unwatchable.
When they took Klinger out of the dress it was over.
Agreed that this was an unfortunate turning point.
Well, by that point they’d already done, what, 3 or 4 years of a 2-year war?
That was roughly season 9, after Radar left.
Radar left early in season 8, so there was still most of 4 seasons left, out of 11.
So they had done just over 7 years, for a war that lasted for 2.
Radar looked like he was 40 years old on his last episode. He was supposed to be a kid. He aged rapidly.
War does that to a man …
They all aged 11 or 12 years over a 2-year war.
Yikes.
