On this episode of “The Federalist Radio Hour,” Annelle Sheline, a research fellow in the Middle East program at the Quincy Institute, joins Federalist Culture Editor Emily Jashinsky to evaluate President Joe Biden’s foreign policy in Russia and the Middle East. Sheline and Jashinsky specifically examine the Biden administration’s negotiations with Saudi Arabia over oil and the state of the Iran nuclear deal.

When Sheline criticized the Biden administration for being too slow (!), reentering the Iran nuclear deal, I looked up the Quincy Institute.

Turns out it’s an isolationist think tank originally bankrolled in 2019 by George Soros and Charles Koch, with additional support from major liberal foundations like Carnegie and Ford.

Yeah, it’s hard to take her seriously when she recommends lifting some sanctions against the Iranian regime (while they’re in a precarious position) to signal to the protestors our support.  Weird.  She thinks lifting some sanctions, which would put money in the pockets of the regime, is helpful to the Iranian people.  You have to be highly educated and steeped in DC cocktail circuit to believe such non sense.
