Today’s podcast discusses the amazing fact that conservative justices on the Supreme Court often go against what people say their political allies demand of them—but this happens far more rarely among liberal justices. Now, why would that be? Also… Donald Trump is running. Give a listen.

I don’t see Donald Trump winning the nomination in 2024 if he has only one serious opponent.  In 2016, Trump did not win a majority in any primary until after he was the clear nominee.  Trump won in 2016 because the other candidates split the non-Trump vote.  Trump has a very strong core, but he is not loved among most Republican primary voters.

Ron deSantis would be a very strong candidate for the Republican nomination in 2024.  He is mostly Trumpian on issues, but he does not have the Trump demeanor.
