Herschel Walker played 12 seasons in the NFL. “Walker joined the Dallas Cowboys in 1986, where he rushed for more yards than any other player in the NFL and was named an All-Pro.” Pod and the gang don’t know what they are talking about.
I like this podcast, but I don’t think I would ever assume these people are football fans. I have no idea what is going to happen with the election, and I no longer live in Georgia, but Walker talks a lot like a lot of people I know from that state, and I don’t think NY elites illustrate here that they quite “get” Georgia devotion to football.
Evidently, since JPod is a five time Jeopardy Champion he has earned the right to bulldoze those around him with misinformation and get away with his BS in those situations where he is pretty certain those in his immediate earshot are not going to have any idea JPod has just pulled whatever nonsense he just uttered out of his Arhse.
As popular as college football is, I think few people would remember a player from 40 years ago who hadn’t played in the NFL.
I remember his name from the late 80s as a child who knew next to nothing about football.
To even casual fans of the NFL that are Jpod’s age, Herschel Walker is famous for being part of the huge trade that brought the Cowboys back to prominence in the 90’s. The Minnesota Vikings didn’t trade a bazillion players and draft picks for a nothing player. Herschel Walker was a star in the NFL during the mid to late 80’s.
