You would think these guys want to increase the number of people who listen to their podcasts so would take a little more care in giving away the store with their titles. I won’t be listening to this episode because I already know what they’re going to say and I have better things to do with my time.
There are many voters who only vote in the Presidential year. They are not motivated to show up more than once in four years.
There is a substantial number of the pro-Trump GOP base that strongly dislikes the Congressional Republican leadership; they consider them RINOs. I wonder how many of those voters will not show up for the midterm elections. Some of them have this idea that not voting for Republican congressmen “teaches” them a lesson.
I do think the Democrats have found the magic bullet for off year/special election turnout – Trump. Trump generates more hate among the Democrats than almost any other Republican Presidential candidate, more than even Nixon or Reagan. I wonder if they hated Goldwater more than Trump. I’m sure they hated Lincoln more than Trump.
I would very much like to vote for a Republican in the Virginia Senate race. However, as my choice is between Democrat Tim Kaine and the execrable Cory Stewart, I will probably take option 3 and refrain from voting.
I actually enjoy hearing the introductions. But that may only be me.
