Difficult to hear again, so I deleted it from my MP3 player after too much straining.  Someone needs to work the audio board, maybe ask Blue Yeti what settings to use.

I have no idea what Oyen is kvetching about. I had difficulty keeping up with the incisive analysis and speed of thought the panel engaged in. It was high level stuff. I should read more literature instead of those non- fiction political quick hits.

From what I’ve read I can’t say that Roth was without knowledge of love. Maybe he just didn’t put so much faith in the emotion as others. From my experience it’s not always the most reliable emotion. Kids and grand-kids are no guarantee of a reservoir of love to slosh around in.

I didn’t hear anything about how funny Roth could be other than a comment by John that, I think, Portnoy  was a stand up routine. If so, it was hysterical.
