What’s in the tax bill? How will it impact the economy and, thus, the 2018 midterms? The COMMENTARY Magazine podcast hosts answer those questions and more. Also, both pro- and anti-Trump partisans have some strange preconceptions about what Robert Mueller’s probe is doing and what conclusions it is going to reach with regard to the president. Finally, a remarkable story in Politico reveals the extent to which the Obama administration was willing to sacrifice American national security in service to the Iran nuclear deal.

    I don’t follow this @45:55

“The Republican Party is led by its base, it does not lead its base, and its base is led by the entertainment complex, and the entertainment complex has turned on the Mueller probe, and so goes the Republican Party.”

Republicans are led by the entertainment complex?  Huh?

I was also unclear on the whole concept of a Republican firewall protecting Mueller.

It’s not just that the Democrats have ignored Russia’s threat for eight years.  The left has ignored Russia’s threat for 100 years.

You could say the only good thing about the “collusion” affair is that the left has finally realized that Russia is a bad actor in the world.

Unfortunately, in the next Democrat administration, they will forget Russia’s villainy.
